Daggers Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 I want credit for not mentioning Thracian in my last post...
Master Fox Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 Should be quite a good year for Elvis and his gang! Hughesy, Mabes and that lot will have a right old laugh with no football to worry about. Going out every night in town, getting boozed up, doing some whores, and all other types of ill shit that posse does. With expense paid on behlaf of Leicester City FC and it's supporters, should be pretty sweet.
chesterfox Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 BBC announce this as a few other stories before sky sports!!! I for one will be quite happy for him to stay. He still has scope to prove himself - he's scored some cracking goals, might be motivated with the competition and would make a good squad player. He does give the impression of being a player with little stamina - does anyone know does he like his pop a bit??

chesterfox Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 Stephen Hughes? We already know he's staying. In the transfer talk bit. der - thanks lildave!!!!!Missed that one
Flynny Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 This isn't a good thing. He's not staying because MA wants him, he's staying because he's well paid and settled here and can't be arsed to move, even if that means not paying. Thats what it would seem, anyway. I hope he proves me wrong either by fooking off or working his way into MA's plans during the season to come. Doubt it, though.
Joe. Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 So we're stuck with him now. Unless he can pull off something special or we get desperate, I doubt he'll be finding his way into the first team this season at all. It seems as though he is just content with staying put and earning his wages...
MPH Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/6895641.stmBBC reckon he's staying then. lets hope he is one of the players who reads this forum... BUGGER OFF HUGHES!!!!!! I personally have never forgiven him for that horrendous mullet he had when he first arrived at the club.. must be related to Ian Marshall....
Geo V Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 Was it simply a case of not being able to agree personal terms or does he just want to stay in England?? Surely Barnsley can snap him up?? (Based on them signing a donkey in AJ )
Pete_foxes Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 Hey look on the bright side .He'l be good if Filbert wants a holiday.
MPH Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 he's lazier than i already thought i know... cant even be bothered to make his way back up to scooootland to discuss a proper contract..
Blue Bob Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 Set to go in the other direction soon is City midfielder Stephen Hughes, whose £50,000 move to Hearts has been delayed as the Scottish Premier League club had been on a European pre-season tour. Quote from the back page of the Leicester Mercury. Lets hope eh!!

Blue Bob Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 he's staying for sure then... I am worried that you are right.
oO RUSTYNAIL Oo Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 When he played against Oadby Town, he was fooking up left right and center, we need to get rid of him ASAP, he couldnt even control a ball coming at him with no pace on it i mean how shite can you be
willy37 Posted 17 July 2007 Posted 17 July 2007 Motherwell boss Mark McGhee has stepped up his bid to sign Celtic's Adam Virgo and Leicester's Stephen Hughes. (Daily Record)
Daggers Posted 23 July 2007 Posted 23 July 2007 I hope his agent, JOHN M COLQUHOUN, appreciates how virtually everyone apart from Barton would dearly love to see Hughes make a success of himself somewhere else.

He`s an ex-Hearts player if memory serves me. Good to see so many ex-players becoming agents! Lets hope SH hurries up and finds a club for the good of his career too.

jonw88 Posted 24 July 2007 Posted 24 July 2007 I remember reading that.... off Football-rumours! Bound to be a load of garbage (bit like the players) but I wouldn't say no to letting the scottish turds rot at Leeds.
