Weren't Sky just saying that these three are rumoured in the Express? I didn't hear anything about today or anything that sounded official in anyway.

Crashing back to earth with a bump. :(

Mandaric, hopefully..

This is my point... isn't it the managers who chose and buy players???

In June 2003, Hendrie received a 12-month driving ban for M40 drink-driving, when he passed a police car over the speed limit on the M40. It was subsequently found that he was 1.5 times over the limit, and banned for twelve months. This was after a June 2000 incident, when Hendrie vowed to become teetotal during the football season after receiving a three-month international ban after breaking a team curfew with the England under-21.[3]

Hendrie married childhood sweetheart Becky in 2004, having had a stag event in Marbella in May where he met Jade Goody. After marrying Becky, the mother of his two children Maizie and Tallulah, the marriage fell apart just hours after their wedding in June, when Becky found he had been seeing lover Emma Cheal, 19. The couple cancelled their £120,000 honeymoon in Mauritius and Hendrie moved out of their £1 million marital home in Solihull to stay with friends.[4]

But Becky took revenge when she found out that he had moved in with Emma. Becky scratched insults on his new £60,000 Porsche Cayenne, which led to Hendrie threatening to sue; and spent upwards of £50,000 on new credit cards. He subsequently left Emma, and had a short fling with Jade.[5]

In October 2004, it was reported that Hendrie was secretly dating 18 year-old Amy Bruce, daughter of Birmingham City's boss Steve Bruce. Hendrie denied it, but when Bruce appeared at a match with cuts and bruises on his face, the rumours escalated. The injuries were sustained, Bruce said, when he confronted two thieves trying to make off with his daughter's Mini. But the matter was never reported to West Midlands Police.[4]

On 21 August 2005 he assaulted Jamie May in Solihull. He was subsequently convicted on 3 March 2006 and ordered to serve 60 hours of community service.[6][3]

But what if Mad Dog doesn't want N'Gotty or Hendrie or De Zeeuw? Instead of looking for players "before they get snapped up", why doesn't Milan concentrate all his efforts into appointing a manager sharpish instead of taking his time and signing players himself.

On Sky again now that Milan is taking his teams transfers into his own hands so he don't miss out on any players whilst he sorts out his new Manager = Martin Allen.

Hendrie = the new Garry Parker

This is Milan Manderic we are talking about here. He likes to get involved we all know that!! I dont think martin Allen would be complaining about any of those 3!

Brilliant targeted signings! Hendrie is just the playmaker we need and we will finally have someone who can take a decent corner and strike a dead ball! De Zeew or Unsworth (should we go for him, please milan!!!) would add organisation and experience to the defence also, N'gotty I feel would just be back-up.

Milan has said any potential signings are players that any potential manager would be happy with. He also said he'd discussed players with potential managers.

I love MM. He really is just simply brilliant.

There’s no other chairman in football that could make three maybe four decent signings for the club without having manager.

All we need is an Ian Marshall type player up front now and we'll be in business.

Why are these rumours any different to the hundred we have had these past few months?

Because apparently Sky Sports have announced it.

I'm guessing Milan has picked them and has waited until he's knows which manager he wants, ran it past him and have it already to go as soon as the new guy is in. These rumours happening the same day as the Martin Allen approach get official makes me think they could very weel be true.
