Would Kisnorbo and McAuley stay with us in case N'Gotty and De Zeeuw both come in on board the LCFC bandwagon?

my money would be on kisnorbo staying. maybe both of them. 4 decent centre backs in a promotion push isnt unheard of...

............and the last thing we need is a twat of the highest order no matter how "good" he is!

Where did you get hold of a copy of my annual appraisal folder?

He picked it up outside your house. It had the following written in red ink on the front:

Do not leave lying around!

- Mrs Lemond.

My uncle is also a stoke fan and i went to a couple of matches and lee hendrie was the worst player on the pitch imo, yet he did have a run of 3 goals in 4 games or something. although he isnt as good as hes made out to be, id have him at leicester anyday

my comments are this.

hendrie good signing, on the MON thing he is probably one of those players who is very good in this division but not quite good enough for the premier, many players are like that, akinbiyi ring a bell?

the other 2 are massive gambles very likely they could be injured for most of the season but if they stay fit I think their experience will pay off. Wigan got god knows how many clean sheets with de zueew at the back only 2 seasons ago, he taking a step down and 2 years later so hard to judge.

Allen as the manager bit of shock but capable of doing the job I think.

I don't recall Akinbiyi being good at all!! Hendrie is in a different league technically, although Ade probably beats him on looks ***has a double check on uglyfootballers.com***, definately beats him on looks

Clear to see that the Hendrie deal is far from completed, as Stoke are trying to poach him....

Hen doh!

Thats us out of the race then.

We always lose out on players.

Hendrie is a sly bastard though as is his agent, I wouldn't read too much in to this.

Exactly, higher wages would be offered at Leicester one would assume.

And why would Villa loan him to Stoke when they could offload him to Us, maybe for a real proper money transfer fee.

I hope thats the case.

We need players like Hendrie.

Hendrie Ponders Options

Lee Hendrie could make a decision on his future within 48 hours, amid rumours that two Midlands clubs are ready to rival Stoke City for his signature.

The midfielder is set for a fresh start this summer as his 12-year Villa career draws to a close and will ponder his options as he meets with representatives on Friday.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is keen to agree a deal after Hendrie's successful loan spell at the Britannia Stadium, but Coventry and Leicester City have also been linked.

Hendrie said: "I heard something last week - different clubs have been mentioned - but I've said I don't want to speak to anyone until this Friday, when I hope my agent has sorted something out for me.

"My future is in their hands and I want something concrete sorted by Friday, so hopefully I'll know where I stand after then.

"Milan Mandaric is ambitious to take Leicester back to the Premiership and they are a big club, as are Coventry, so it's nice to be linked with them.

"But I don't know whether it's true. If my agent rings me on Friday with something worthwhile, then great.

"My agent has spoken to Stoke and Tony Pulis has to get back in touch with their chief executive.

"All their loan players have gone back and they had a really good go at getting promoted, so I don't know what their financial situation is."

He added: "I've never been in this situation before - I've always had a year or two left on my contract and I've signed an extension, so this is a new experience.

"But what clubs would be getting from me is a hungry player on a free transfer, so I'm hoping I'm in a good position for clubs."
