Definitely, Hendrie was on the wing against us at the Walkers and did not play well or look comfortable. Anyway, our chances of getting Hendrie could be hindered. Stoke City have confirmed they are in talks with Lee Hendrie and Andy Griffin with a view to securing loan deals for the pair next season. Villa midfielder Hendrie and Portsmouth defender Griffin spent much of last season on loan at the Potters with boss Tony Pulis keen for a similar deal. He told the club website: "All of the loan players have gone back. "We've held tentative discussions with their representatives and we will be working hard to tie up the deals."

One of the recent Sky stories say's he is not going to decide anything until he speaks to his agent on Friday So if Mandaric does believe he has his man, i'm assuming he has agreed through the agent who will advise Hendrie to accept the 'best offer'; i.e. the one with the largest agent fee

Great that we wouldn't have to pay for him but if that interpretation is correct it is slightly disappointing to see a player only choosing on where the cash is. <_<
