There will be at least another 6. With a similar number leaving (transfer listed lot).

We still need at least 3 more midfielders, a new striker, left back and that Iranian chap is a right sided defender. So there's 6.

I'd put dosh on this Kaebi character playing right-wing if he signs.

Hossein Ka'abi (also spelled Kaebi, Persian: حسين كعبى , born September 23, 1985 in Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran) is an Iranian football player who currently plays for Persepolis F.C. in Iran's Premier Football League and the Iran national football team.

Furthermore, I forgot you were the King of Spelling.

I'm sure you're not the only one to notice the irony.

Yes. Good point.

Obviously the Persian spelling is incorrect, as Persia no longer exists.

At least this little interplay means you have to be extra careful with your spelling for once, as opposed to your usual haphazard machine-gunning of the English language.

If we sign McLeod will anyone be willing to bet with me that he will score more championship goals than Billy "good on football manager" Sharp ?!

He's pretty good in real life too!

800k would be great business.

What people forget is that Sharp has scored his goals in a winning team, whereas McLeod has scored his in a struggling side.

That has to be worth a few goals a season.

Im not saying that McLeod is better, im just giving the facts.

Someone will say 'Oh, but Sharps scored his in a higher League'. Well, yes he has, but McLeods goals still came in a struggling side in a lower league and its all relative - shit service = no goals, whatever league you're in.

MK Dons really weren't that bad though. Izale did get and miss a fair few chances.

They are different types of players.

Sharp is the more natural finisher though and in the right team, he could score hatfuls in this division.

Are you that bloke in the pub Paul Whitehouse played in the Fast Show who always agreed with everyone else's opinion?

Yeah but to be fair mate - he was agreeing with me, which is understandable. I'm charismatic (not to mention right).

no i was just giving my opinion by agreeing with their point as appose to some high posters that seem to go out of their way to offend people when they dont agree with other people because they think they are right! if you dont agree, say so nicer :cry:lol nothing what so ever against you though fez!!:thumbup:

Well, i dont know about that, i didnt go to any games and see him.

But anyway, of course Sharp is the more natural finisher yes.

But if we can get a striker that isnt as natural a goalscorer as Sharp (i.e McLeod) that can get on average about 20 goals a season (albeit at a lower level), then i'm all forrit. Get him alongside a goalscorer and we'd be deadly.

All im saying is i would be pretty happy if we got him - i certainly would'nt be disappointed.
