Hasselbaink medical at Leicester

So we've gone from a 2 liner saying JFH move is on hold after a difference of opinion to fans thinking our club is in crisis, Allen and Mandaric have had a mardy and now there is gonna be drastic action :dunno:

Talk about over-hyping something small into something major!

It hasn't been.

One child reported hearing something on SSN last night...in fact, I believe it was a friend of the child who then contacted him.

I've not seen one credible reference to this rumoured "split of opinion".

Sky Sports News don't tend to bullshit about things, although I would concede that more may be being made of it then actually is. I'd imagine the 'leak' may have come from JFH or his agent after being pissed off at his move being put on hold.

As much as people may dislike to admit it, there are a number of posters on TB who get inside information. Yet again when the JFH story initially cropped up everyone poured scorn on it and yet again it turned out to be true. I refuse to give more credence to stories from newspapers who have consistently got it completely wrong about us, the world and everything than to a group of Leicester fans who have shown time after time that they are not ones to bullshit.

I'm really worried about the situation as the people in the know seem to think it's on the verge of meltdown.

PLEASE ANSWER SOMEONE???

Whats happened??? :cry::blink:

milan and allen have disagreed, hasselbaink got sent home, not sure if we will sign him now

Where has it gone public Fez?

Hume and MDV were caught giving deep throat to lcfc fans through glory holes in the male public lavs. Martin Allen now experienced what both have to offer but can’t decide which of them gives the more pleasurable sucking.

You forgot to add Hasselbaink's conondrum about joining a dating agency and as a result a dinner date with Jessica Lang (Murder She wrote) writer...........................................

Is anyone else slightly worried that our club appears to be in complete crisis?

well this is my opinion i cudnt give a s*it if martin allen goes cuz i simply dont think hes the right manager to take us forward. why has he got a problem of the signing of JFH?? hes better than MDV put it that way...jimmy nielson is no.1 but doesnt go in goal...mark de vries is a donkey who just cant score or head the ball...kenton was told he was going to play but never....its all a bit out of shape for me

Nielsen is less than 100% fit, and is less than convincing.

De Vries was one of our best players Saturday.

Kenton was never told jack about playing.

I can see it now Martin Allen gone - Barry Fry in.

Life with MM simply won't be dull.

He may as well manage the side himself.

Sod it - I'm prepared to sell out and be his puppet. I'm a happy fall guy.

All news organisations bullshit sports stories. They have 24hours to fill will not much "news" - take, for example, all the players that 'did not' sign for anyone over the summer. Total non-stories.

I would give this more credence if Big Bob Hazel or the Merc were singing a similar tune.

Maybe it is true, but I find it odd that they are leading this rather than following confirmed rumour sources...it would imply agent spin. :dunno:

Mark Draper, with the bowl of Carbonara, In Barcelona.

I love the Italian version of Cluedo.

Although I reckon ETA did it, with a bowl of Paella, in Turin (how they long to be recognised as a separate state).

Have I missed something? Where, officially, does it mention that MA & MM have had a disagreement or is this just an assumption?

It was a 2 liner in the text box on sky sports news this morning but it didnt say disagreement it said they have had a 'difference of opinion' over Jimmy (though thats the same as a disagreement i guess but just sounds less serious!).

Those in the know on TB, who first said JFH was coming here have said that MM and MA aren't getting on.

Oh please no!

I think we are all getting ahead of ourselves on this one because we have too much time on our hands and letting our minds run wild

Cheers!

Personally I think it's a load of b*ll*cks. They looked fine on the beach playing together on the Isle of Wight on Sunday. Rubbing sun cream into each other and squealing like girlies on a donut at 60 knots on the Solent!

All's well with the world!

City no to offer on Jimmy

by Bill Anderson

Leicester City will be out to hit the goal trail at Accrington Stanley tonight - but not through Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

The 35-year-old Dutch international was reported in some quarters to have had a medical check at the Walkers Stadium yesterday.

But City will not be following up a chance to sign him.

The former Leeds, Chelsea and Middlesbrough striker is without a club, having been released by Charlton, and had been offered to City as a possible signing.

City chairman Milan Mandaric said: “There was a chance of the signing but, after discussions with the manager, it was decided not to take it any further.

“But it is still my intention to back him with some more new signings if we can do it.”

City boss Martin Allen has already signed three new strikers - Carl Cort, DJ Campbell and teenager Ricky Sappleton.

In addition, he can call on Iain Hume, Matty Fryatt and Mark de Vries plus teenager Eric Odhiambo, who is showing promise - so squad priorities lie elsewhere.

Of more immediate concern for City is tonight's Carling Cup first round-tie against Accrington at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, and the visitors hope they do not go the way of Championship side Southampton, who lost 2-1 at Peterborough last night.

Hume hopes it might be third time lucky - and that City will avoid a goalkeeper having a blinder.

The Canadian international suffered along with the rest of City's attack in Saturday's opening-day setback against Blackpool when Paul Rachubka put up the shutters.

That followed on from David James' fine display for Portsmouth in the friendly the week before, and Hume said: “That's two games in a row that a keeper has done that to us, and on Saturday it was very difficult coming away from a game you think you should have won.

“But we need to bounce back and I am sure we will. We had a lot of chances and, if we get half of them against Accrington, we should be fine.

“It is not going to be easy. I have played there for Tranmere Reserves and it is not the nicest ground but we have to treat it in the right way.”

Hume was left in no doubt on Saturday about Allen's all-out attacking policy especially when battling back from behind.

At one stage, there were three up front with Campbell, unluckiest of all the front men with the break of the ball, joining Hume and de Vries, who is back into the fold and looking stronger and better than before.

Hume acknowledged the value of his colleague, saying: “It has been a tough year and a half for him, and to have come back so strong and fit is a great credit to him.

“He has earned his place after taking part in most of the pre-season games

“He takes a bit of the weight off my shoulders and even in only one game, I think there are signs of promise that we can score goals as a team.”
