teblin Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Milan Got to say don't see the point in chanting Allens names he's gone, deal with it.
hairy Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I feel that if Milan had explained his decision for getting rid of Mad Dog then it would have been put to bed. I know that he can't do this because of the disclosure clause. But what a bunch of nobs our fans are sometimes.
Phlashman Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 MilanGot to say don't see the point in chanting Allens names he's gone, deal with it. Totally agree, it was very pointless, especially at the time as we were behind. I certainly didn't join in.
Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Well said Milan. I can understand there will be some fans that will spout that this is a bit rich coming from Mandaric after what he's done, but he wants us in the Premiership. He's not blagging us here, some might not like him for what he's done but there's nothing we can do at the minute. Let's give Mandaric and Megson a chance, i'm fed up with the moaning. Look at where we've been.
Jon the Hat Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 It's all me me me with Milan. Comes across a little bit like a petulant kid. What possible benefit is there to that article?
Jon the Hat Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 None. But he makes a good point. It is a good point for another Fan to make, but the Chairman is supposed to be a little bit more in control and refined. And respectful of the fans. Even the idiots.

And respectful of the fans. Even the idiots. Why should he? He put his hand in his pocket, we wouldn't have clemence etc.. if it wasn't for him!
Dr The Singh Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I feel that if Milan had explained his decision for getting rid of Mad Dog then it would have been put to bed. I know that he can't do this because of the disclosure clause. But what a bunch of nobs our fans are sometimes. Agreed, pointless negativity!! We as fans should not take sides over the divorce between Mandaric and Allen!!!
The People's Hero Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 It is a good point for another Fan to make, but the Chairman is supposed to be a little bit more in control and refined. And respectful of the fans. Even the idiots. I appreciate what you're saying - and to a large extent I suppose I agree. Football is not an ordinary business though and football chairmen are often not ordinary characters. At least 5 or 6 teams in this division seem to have fairly egotistical idiots holding the reins. Just to spark off a few immediately - Simon Jordan, Paladini, Mandaric.
Leicester Rule! Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 “Were they not at Nottingham in the previous game under Martin Allen when that 45 minutes was a disgrace? We won but we didnt realy play well last night as well did we? Forest dominated us
Jon the Hat Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Agreed, pointless negativity!! We as fans should not take sides over the divorce between Mandaric and Allen!!! Right. And when he sells our best players and decides to groundsahre with Tigers and make the Walkers all green we should keep quiet. It is after all his club.
Master Fox Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I thought it was a joke......... Oh maybe not.... Cretins

It is quite amusing really. But on a day when he has made the club lok good in the media with the great goal giveaway why not just shut up. Muppet.
Sir Fynwy Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 The chanting of allens name was totally stupid but that sums up the level of some of the fans, if anyone wants to go back to the days when we could't sign players and had no hope (only last season!) they might as well go and support forest. Sometimes you wonder why you bother going to all of the games .
Bellend Sebastian Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I can see why he's frustrated. It is after all a classic example of biting the hand that feeds. Martin Allen may have gone on to be the greatest manager in the club's history, but realistically, the chances of failure were greater. I was shocked at his departure, but have to trust the owner's judgement - what choice do we have? I don't know much about Milan but I know even less about Martin Allen, and the way he's being treated by some sections of fans as a new messiah seemingly because he posted a few messages on the website is beginning to grate
Dr The Singh Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Right. And when he sells our best players and decides to groundsahre with Tigers and make the Walkers all green we should keep quiet. It is after all his club. Jon, it's usually you are one who is so level headed!! My point as stated regarded the Allen vs Mandaric bust up!! There's no reason to suggest any of what you have written will happen!! And it is still very early days to suggest what Mandaric has done thus far has been detrimental to the club (Allen sacking). Mandaric is a business man, and the only way he is going ot make money is by getting us into the premiership, and that's what the fans want also, his methods although may not be popular to some!!!
Stevosevic Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I felt quite embarrassed when the chants began, he's not coming back, he was sunday league, the players didn't back him 100% IMO and i think it's sad people fell in love with him after four games. Well said Milan.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I agree with him but I'm not sure he should be saying it.
Leicester Rule! Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 fans play a lot of money for tickets ... let them chant what they like
Jay1982 Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Right. And when he sells our best players and decides to groundsahre with Tigers and make the Walkers all green we should keep quiet. It is after all his club. what a pointless comment again, take aback and look at what your writing. Nob
Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I agree with him but I'm not sure he should be saying it. That's my feelings about it, but there's a culture at this club including everyone associated with it, that's not been right for a long while. It needs changing, Mandaric is brave enough to try to. What he's said won't go down well with some and it may cause a further divide, but I applaud him for what he's trying to do here. Forest away was always going to attract a proportion of wankers to the game, they probably don't even know who Martin Allen is.
Master Fox Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 fans play a lot of money for tickets ... let them chant what they like How much were the tickets last night? £5?
Bernie's Love Child Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I agree with him but I'm not sure he should be saying it. Totally agree. Was a disgrace that fans were chanting Allen's name, but this isn't the way to win them over by having a rant in the Mercury.
