Milan Not Happy

And also have to say, it was really loud where I was. It seemed to be coming from the back of X1. Certainly around 500 fans joined in I would say. A large minority, which is why I'm wondering whether this statement is wise.

Hopefully eventually it may force more info out of Mandaric regarding the sacking. In this piece he says the first game at forest was a "discrace" which is a start.

Forest away was always going to attract a proportion of wankers to the game, they probably don't even know who Martin Allen is.

That's why I didn't go last night. I went to the first game and felt like I was surrounded by subnormals and I don't even feel like that in L1 usually. I was even abused by a Leicester fan, who rather cryptically sang to me '1-0 and you f***** it up'. This wouldn't have made sense even if I was a Forest supporter.

I've nothing against people with poo for brains going to football games, they should just keep quiet

How much were the tickets last night? £5?
But by the time you go to a fair proportion of away games and pay for travel as wel ... the cost soon mounts up. If you don't like what there chanting, dont join in. simple as.

but were we that much better today ? ? to be honest, forest deserved to win.

fans play a lot of money for tickets ... let them chant what they like

What if they were chanting "Leicester Rule takes it up the *rse"? Maybe making gas noises when playing Spurs.

I always hate the we've paid for our ticket, we're allowed to shout what we like attitude. No, not really.

The article is very unwise IMO. This was a great result for us and why would MM complain about fans who sang a poor choice of song? This is his ego showing. Why does he not say that the Harry Roberts song is poisoning our support, as that is a far worse song IMO!

I believe he should have kept quiet about this and let it go. He should be holding his head high and enjoy the good feeling from our loyal support not critisising the minority who sang this MA song.

I support MM as I remember years worth of underinvestment from various boards. Ma has gone get over it, Milan will be good for us and F*rest is just the beginning.

Also on another point did GM win us the match with his subs?

what a pointless comment again, take aback and look at what your writing. Nob

Apologies if the point was a little too hard for you to understand. I will explain in simple terms.

If you take the view that the owner should be able to do what he likes without the fans being able to express their support or opposition then you might not like where you end up. Hence the examples which where they to happen might well piss of the majority of fans rather than the minority. I am not questioning whether Milan was right or wrong to sack Allen, only that he should expect his actions to be commented on in many ways, one of which is fans singing. If it doesn't like it he should ignore it.

I like what MM is saying.

It does smack a little of a child who has not got what he wanted, but it seems he is saying that, to the 500 (Fez?), if you don't like what I am doing, then sod off! One club, one vision.

He has invested his own money in this club and is doing what he feels is best for the club, the fans and the players.

We might not agree with Megson in charge. We might think Taggs called all the shots. We might not think it was a good idea to come out with this statement.

But it's his honest opinion.

Singing the 'praises' of MA is as pointless and futile as the F****t fans jeering GM.

Wankers!

FFS, support the club. Support the chairman. Support the manager and his team, and support the players.

Otherwise, it is likely MM is likely to throw his toys out of the pram, will just sell up and sod off. And I don't like the thought of what the consequences might be.

OK. I'm off my soapbox now ;)

Jon, it's usually you are one who is so level headed!! My point as stated regarded the Allen vs Mandaric bust up!!

There's no reason to suggest any of what you have written will happen!! And it is still very early days to suggest what Mandaric has done thus far has been detrimental to the club (Allen sacking). Mandaric is a business man, and the only way he is going ot make money is by getting us into the premiership, and that's what the fans want also, his methods although may not be popular to some!!!

Yeah I know, but he should expect his actions good or bad to garner a reaction from the fans, good or bad, and not react to it.

the stupid fans that were chanting last night will feel foolish enough now so lets hope the whole MA thing can now be put to bed and we can start moving forward with our new ( and i believe ) good manager

we cannot afford to make the same mistake that some fans made at the early period of MON'S tenure

What absolute tosh, Jon. Like Singh (I think) said earlier, you are usually level headed so I guess today is a bad day for you :D

As a manager, I make decisions all the time. Some my team will like, some they won't.

However, there is often a point to those decisions and whether they like it or not is of little or no consequence. It has to be done.

To say he should ignore it is just mental! How can someone in his postion just ignore idiotic, pointless chanting of a minority expressing a ridiculous point.

If they had chanted "we want Ronaldo to join us", he'd have probably said something like "so do I, but I can't afford him - yet".

I hope he does piss off those fans, and if I were MM, I wouldn't care less if they never set foot in the Walkers again.

Milan is a legend.

I must admit I can see where he is coming from on this one. He is doing all he can to get this club into the Premier League and he must feel so frustrated when he hears some of the fans behaving like idiots and singing for MA, despite deciding to only look at the Watford game as a guide to his skills as a manager. MM knows the full picture and thats why he sacked the bloke and thats why it will cost him money with whatever pay-off he gets.

They are those who have been part of the doom and gloom element over the years here

BTW the above comment is spot on. Some of the doom and gloom lot actually would be lost without having something to moan about. I suggest they get on Prozac or do something to snap out of this negative crap that goes on with them.

I agree. We will never know what went on behind the scenes so it is unfair to comment. The 'no comment' agreement may have been made to preserve MA's reputation as a manager. It would certainly not have helped his future employment prospects to have had an inquest into his departure splashed all over the papers. We may never know what happened but it seemed to me he may have been out of his depth and some of the signings, given MMs backing, did seem strange.

However we need to move on and support Megson. After years of bad news, poor performances and depression at last we seem to be moving forward and it is in all our interests, including MMs, that we pull together. Negative chanting such as that witnessed at Forest last night does nothing to help and we are better off without the constant, pointless sniping of some City fans. For goodness sake get off MM's back, get off Megson's back, get off the team's back and move on. You've had your say, now forget about it!

Well said Milan.

That's my point, he has neither done anything good nor bad with the sacking of Allen and we will never know the impact Allen may have had, as far as we know he could have been a bigger cretin then Levien. People should put things in perspective!!

If they are ST holders, they'll still go and will learn to shut up. If not ST holders, I doubt MM would be that bothered. If we do well, those empty spaces will be filled with what Fez described as the Happy - Clappies (or something).

Back page of the pissing merc.

We win in an epic last few minutes and all they can muster on the back page is Milan practically insulting our fans.

What a way to overshadow an amazing comeback.

I don't believe that they will learn to shut up as there is no concequence to their actions.

But what a bunch of nobs our fans are sometimes.

Agree. We are a right bunch of fickle tossers at times. WTF was the point of booing Megson against QPR? If you don't like what is happening, vote with your feet.

And neither will there be if they continue. Other than pissing MM off more.

Then there might be a consequence.

Got to say don't see the point in chanting Allens names he's gone, deal with it.

milan must completly have his head in the clouds.

In all his years in football and he still doesnt understand the game and the people who follow their team

You cant sack a manager after only 3 league games and expect everyone to smile sweetly and applaud him- especially when you dont tell them why. Even more so when the manager has built up a relationship with the fans.

I probably wouldnt of chanted Allens name even though i was angry with how it all went.

Milan's attitude to me is one of a prima donna on this one- yes its his money but he cant suddenly expect everyone to behave how he wants them to behave- fans spend their money too..

he may find it personally insulting that it happened but fans may of found it personally insulting that allen was sacked after buying their season tickets, their new tops, paying money going to away games, believeing Mialn when he told us all 'this was the right man for the Job' ect, ect.

He hasnt responded to my letter of complaint about how it was all handled- it hasnt even been acknowledged maybe he hasnt to other peoples.. this was at least one way for him to understand how the fans felt.

like i said, i wouldnt of chanted his name but i think people have the right to voice their frustrations- i just hope it doesnt go on in many other games...
