Mr Happy Posted 15 October 2007 Posted 15 October 2007 Can't believe that most aren't giving city any hope what-so-ever of gettting a win over chelski!?! I think people should put more faith in their team! If we all give our full backing to the team, they should play better and get the points needed (in theory) including the win over chelski Scunny 0 - 1 City City 2 - 1 Sheff Utd City 1 - 0 Barnsley Chelski 1- 2 City AET
Nick_The_Tyke Posted 16 October 2007 Posted 16 October 2007 Scnuthorpe - You should beat these and if you let them score, your defenders should be lined up and shot. Woeful when they came to Oakwell. 0-2 Blunts - More difficult. I reckon their league position is a bit false. Shaky defensively but you're hardly free-scoring. Beattie knows where the net is. 1-1 expected, 8-0 hoped for. Barnsley - 0-0 written all over it I reckon. Whenever we've scored a few we've also conceded a few but the reverse is also true. I think our midfield will dominate but your defence will be tight enough to hold us out. At the expense, however, of you not offering much up front. Chelsea? Goodness knows but good luck. Nice work against the fowls, anyway - Laws is having a mare, poor lad . Good luck in the blunts game. I hope you pile the misery on Bryan as well as Brian. See you in a couple of weeks

Clemence shuld be back for that game, I think you will struggle to break us down, but we find it hard to create chances too, especially playing about 7 defenders

Nick_The_Tyke Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Wait, isn't Andy Johnson part of your midfield? Erm, that would be a no. He was for 3 games or so, until Davey realised he'd signed a lemon. Not been near the first team for weeks. Andy Johnson's current place in the pecking order: Can't make the bench for this afternoon's reserves clash against Hartlepool!
