Ottawa base was totally under-represented at the do... I think just one employee went of about 25. The Ottawa do for Ottawa staff was at a buffet restaurant last Saturday. Was pretty good, and much of the cost is being expensed by the Ottawa manager since 99% of the Ottawa workforce couldn't make the main company do. Similarly, lots of food going around and plenty of people were drinking. I wanted to go to Toronto, it looks to have been a good gathering... shame I was elsewhere that day.

Last year ours was at old billingsgate fish market. Massive venue, free cocktails all night. brilliant. Missed it this year though as I'm STILL in frickin singapore. Coming back tomorrow though.

You can never be sure what you get when you call a caterer, but they were spot on. Delicious. Oh, and the atmosphere was fun, too. On a sidenote, I was the only one to dress up in military clothes that evening.
