Have Coventry signed Bradley Johnson yet? Can we all start being really pissed off that Coventry beat us to a player half of us didn't even want in the first place yet?

The Sun are reporting that we've already signed him for £250,000 after matching Colchester's offer and he chose us over them. Still won't believe it til I see it on the OS though.

Quite a good bit of business if thats true, 250,000 hardly going to bankrupt us.

We are all used to signings being announced at 9 am on the OS from the summer. But that's when we had a manager in charge who was more obsessed with the punctual running of our prestige Official Website than he was about the bumflufferies of the players he was actually signing.

I reckon we might see a few signings pop up in afternoon's of a day. I reckon we'll have 1 or 2 more in before Saturday. Johnson is going to wear Elvis's Fubu waistcoat and therefore be eligible for selection at Southampton.

Just had a convo with my mate, cobblers fan :crylaugh:

I told him about Bradley Johnson coming here and he already knew,

and is gutted.

I think its worth getting him for that reason, just to piss my mate off,

if he dosen't make it. Il be able t say your best players are so shit.

They're away at Leeds on Saturday. :laugh: I never thought I'd see the day.

Apparently he signed for us today.

A work colleague of mine is friends with Bradley Johnsons god parent and told her at lunch time this afternoon. To make it even better we snatched him under the noses of Coventry becuase just before Xmas it was almost a certainty he would of signed for them.

Wasn't talking about Elvis, although some of the comments made about him do sail very close to the wind.

It was TPD's jibes about Highfields, an area about which he clearly knows even less than he does about football.

It was me who bought up Highfields anyway!

Jumping out going "AHA!" at the slightest sniff of percieved hypocrisy is ridiculous anyway, but at least get your basic assertations right to begin with.

If you actually gave two shits about stereotyping you'd be all over me like a rash for saying all slab-layers are Irish or Gypsies (something I'm quite aware isn't true, incidentally).

i cant be bothered to write it out but hes starting the game against leeds regardless of on going negotiations with clubs.

it says that he has not agreed terms with a club yet so im starting to doubt he was one of three ollie is on about. but we shall see .

Northampton manager Stuart Gray has confirmed that Bradley Johnson will be back in his squad for Saturday's clash with Leeds.

The midfielder was expected to leave Sixfields as a number of Championship clubs have shown an interest in the 20-year-old.

However, Johnson has failed to agree personal terms ahead of any potential move and will now return to Northampton.

Johnson was left out of the New Year's Day clash with Millwall following a substantial bid from a Championship outfit, but he could now feature against Leeds.

Commitment

Gray said: "Bradley has been in talks with a number of clubs over the last few days but he has not agreed terms with any one.

"Therefore, as he is a key part of our squad we have recalled him for Saturday.

"We left him out on New Year's Day as we thought he may have agreed terms with another club in the 24 or 48 hours following the game

"But that has not happened and we were not willing to do without him for a second game running and weaken our squad for such a big match.

"I am sure Bradley will continue to show 100 per cent commitment to the club, as he always has."

Does that mean he's not signed or that there's been a delay or that its off or that he's not one of the three. Is the Mars bar still the deal breaker and can I have an Oasis instead of my crisps and a can with a slimming sandwich?
