Mort Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Best move for the Player, best move for the Club. For Cort luck was always going to play a big part and he was very unlucky with us, a cycle of injury and nervy performances became the catalyst to a succession of poor displays... no player deserved the kind of abuse he got from some supporters but that shouldn’t distract from the fat that he was utterly shocking at times. What i do wonder though, is that if we releasing players like Cort, surely the likes of Mabbs, Neilsen, Newton etc... could be on there way out as well?
Joe. Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 How have I only just seen this? The day gets better. Superb.
Dames Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 You know what would make the day complete? Newton leaving. That would be something.

WetFlannel Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Shame his injuries only lasted as long as they did
SamL Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 "We'll never see you again" "Don't come back, don't come back, don't come back" Can't say i'll be sad to see him go, never really offered us much. I don't agree with the booing he received but he didn't really set us alight did he. Thanks for the goal at Chelsea Carl, good luck.
lildave3 Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I think Cort wasn't too bad. Away to Plymouth, he gave a good account of himself, and he scored a perfect goal up at Preston which should of stood. I think he could have been better if he had the service. However, with Howard signing I think he has seen sense and seen he's not goign to get get first team football. Good luck in the rest of your career mr cort. Away at Plymouth was his debut yes? I didn't see anything particularly of note there. As for the Preston goal, it looked a blatant offside to me, but I haven't seen TV replays so I don't know for sure. But that was still just one header, aside from that he was rubbish. So Chelsea aside, he was poor for us and considering the amount of strikers we have, he serves no purpose.

I didn't think he played too well at Plymouth either but then again who did? He had too many poor games for my liking i.e. Charlton We've got Howard to fill the position that Cort was supposed to play in so he is no longer needed.
leeleic Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 NICE!! I feel a buzz around the forum now! he was w@nk though werent he! cheers carl, see you when you no doubt score a hat-trick against on your debut for forest.
Ozwin Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I reckon he added to the 'negative' atmosphere. Good to see him gone, he's just not as good as he was and even then he wasn't really worth £7M or whatever was he? Cheerio.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Most popular termination of contract since Dennis W... Denni... Den... it's no good I can't bring myself to say his name, but you know who I mean!
RowlattsFox Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 He's joined Marbella.. http://www.uniondeportivamarbella.es/
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 He's joined Marbella..http://www.uniondeportivamarbella.es/ ...purley for football reasons I bet.

He had 1 goal disallowed at home for sure as well, maybe 2. I can't remember.
Master Fox Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 He's joined Marbella..http://www.uniondeportivamarbella.es/ Probably a better than club than Leicester. Well done Carl. Good move.
marbelladave Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 He's joined Marbella..http://www.uniondeportivamarbella.es/ Wow! Just down the road! Probably run into him in a bar in Puerto Banus or maybe Nikki Beach when the weather improves a bit. Marbella are barely Conference standard, might even get a goal or two.
Daggers Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 is that his pimp on the right hand side? I reckon that if he had a pimp it would be someone called something like Marbella Dave - that's a name you wouldn't mess with.
andyh1884 Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 is that his pimp on the right hand side? He appears to be in a wheelchair Maybe it's just the design of the seat, but might explain why he's sat down while the other two are stood up
purpleronnie Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 He appears to be in a wheelchairMaybe it's just the design of the seat, but might explain why he's sat down while the other two are stood up Nope he's just a lot smaller than you thought.
danny. Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 hahahahahahahaha this link is on that article bet they will expect him to be good based on that and not just jog around aimlessley for 90 mins
FleckneyFox Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 And we thought he was in it for the money Im sure he'll be living the good life in spain 3rd tier of Spanish football against Real & Barca "B" teams oh well hes a long way from Leicester.
dandannieldanok Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 He's joined Marbella..http://www.uniondeportivamarbella.es/ Unbelievable Fair play to him, he can spend his injured days on the beach now instead of the LCFC treatment room, good thinking Carl.
Jack Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Hopefully he has found his level of football and may even bang in a few goals along the way.
