I'd love to see Laczko get a second rating above six. Yet they make enough fuss of him just as they did Kaebi who probably didn't rate much more than four even in the reserves on more than the odd occasion and Clapham who, though he's been steady enough, has never threatened a goal/assist.

The double standards applied are laughable - even now there's significant support to frontline striker Fryatt whose combined goals and assists is still one less than defender Shush!'s and the Irishman's been gone for 10 weeks.

Never mind. Perhaps Shush! will make his own statement if his next permanent club and ours are ever pitched against one another.

Yeah, he'll probably fall over and let our right winger in.Come off it the lad is no better then league one except for his left foot he has nothing.Did you see stef oakes free kick last week?Nice left foot as well, do you want him back?

As for Maxi cant wait to have him back surely the bit of class we need ext season!

How can you talk about double standards!? Such a hypocrite. :crylaugh:

A friend of mine who's a Leeds fan said Saturday was his best performance in a Leeds shirt.

He still doesn't rate him mind.

Wonder if that's changed after the 25yarder he just scored?

yeah he'll get sent off fora reckless lunge on Maxi, Shush! is shit get over it, as for the Laczko and Kaebi comments, anyone with half a brain knows they should of been given a year to settle, the problem is Agents and such kicking up a fuss (at least in Kaebi's case)

Nalis scored 1 from around the same distance on his weaker foot with a volley once, didn't mean he could pass a ball though did it?

lol thracian is gonna be all over this. >_<:crylaugh:

Well, his timing was spot on! :D

Third goal this season - level with Fryatt, level with our possible player of the season Richard Stearman and, as far as I recall, neither of our other regular full-backs, Mattock and Clapham, have scored at all in their 33 matches between them.

Not long before Christmas Shush was voted 60-odd-40-odd as our best left back but there's not many of that 60% who've stood up to his critics and regretted his going.

It'll be ironic if he finally does a share of the damage which restores Leeds' season and helps get them promoted. And sodding disastrous if we go down as well, not that I can seriously imagine it but more unlikely stories have unravelled in football.

I've heard some criticisms of Shush! but suggesting he can't pass a ball! Try telling that to his most regular team-mates at City. They'd laugh.

I'm not even sure that will last. People soon got on at Porter when his form dipped a bit and few except Mark and Ric mentioned him for the first team until he started getting rave reviews at Bournemouth despite the fact he was our best right winger in the precious little chance he was given pre-season.

no the comparison was that he couldn't do the job he is emplyed to do as a midfielder (ie PASS THE FOOKING BALL TO A TEAM MATE)

likewise Shush! is a terrible defender, it's only you that seems to think otherwise

First you call him a midfielder then a defender but wno matter, we'll agree to differ anyway.

no you doughnut Nalis was a midfielder capeable of scoring a cracker but in capeable of doing what he was paid for

Shush! is the same except he's a defender that can't defend I never called him a midfielder, I hope he leaves just so we never have to read you post about him again

What he said.

I liked Shushy, I thought he offered something that we didn't otherwise have. But he was the second best left-back and he has gone. The best thing about his going was that Thrashushian would shut the **** up about him. No more twenty seven line posts that I'd have to gloss over because I simply couldn't be bothered to read that many words...

..but no.

It's like fucking Jesus. His passing has just created more fucking fervour. :frusty:

All the stats count for nothing because you and some others don't want to recognise them. And fancy Leeds going three games without conceding with a defender who supposedly "can't defend".

At least Leeds seem to be learning. They've got Shush! taking their attacking free-kicks which didn't happen when he first joined them.

And it sounds as if their liking the style of their new manager judging by this comment, and others, tonight:

"Any away result is a good win regardless of the opposition. Always been a bit worried on the Wise approach to games seems to be blood and guts and no guile. How do you think Swansea are doing so well in this league. They have a bit of craft and are a good footballing side.

"Finally now I think Leeds have the right guy in charge total football and the Leeds crowd think that should have been the way to go from day 1. Hopefully not to late but not a bad run in combined with some of our stolen points should at least guarantee play off position, but still see automatic promotion a possibility depending on the points arbitration."

Shush! will think all his birthday's have come at once playing for a manager like McAllister, a bloke who believes so much in attacking.

It's not so long people were having a go at another of Leicester's home grown full-backs and saying how much better Chambers was going to be - until he got the chance briefly.

In fact, over the months Stearman has got far more criticism than Clapham's ever had yet Stearman is forever getting up and down the pitch trying to make things happen.

Even now you sense that some can't wait for him to play badly so they can have another go. It's as if familiarity breeds contempt. That and the fact they seem to prefer defensive full-backs like Nils and Clapham to attacking ones of the sort that are a must for the quality sides.

What are you on about ??

Have leeds no other defenders then ?? Is sheenhan a one man defence and the only reason they have gone three without conceding ??

or are there at least three others helping to stop the opposition scoring ??

or has the all out attacking formation of McAllister resulted in them playing one at the back ??

You are right about Stears ..he doesnt deserve the criticism he gets simply cos he is a decent player and I have defended him on here before now

Sheenhan simply isnt....as i said........... thats why hes playing in a lower league...simple as that.

As already mentioned elsewhere that I have no problem assuming the rest of the Leeds defence were outstanding in collecting three successive clean sheets. It's others who are suggesting that Shush! wouldn't have helped much cos he can't defend.

And stop being so pious about the "lower league". We've already played Forest twice this year and but for the Clarke incident might well have got beaten. We've also struggled against teams who went down last year and teams at the bottom end of he Championship this year so I'm quite sure there are plenty of Division One sides who would give us a contest.
