The People's Hero Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 That crosses Fryatt off, and, besides, Northampton couldn't afford him, at least not yet! Please don't start this again Thracian. He's far from our worst striker and you know it.
Flynny Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 That crosses Fryatt off, and, besides, Northampton couldn't afford him, at least not yet! 1. Neither does Elvis. That was the point. ARRGHHH. 2. You've just been baited and then gone and bitten.
Jimmy Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 Surprise surprise, Thracian slates a youngster at the club NOT from our academy Seriously though where is that Lincoln fan, he hasn't posted about Dodds for a while
The People's Hero Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 Seriously though where is that Lincoln fan, he hasn't posted about Dodds for a while I think he died of over-expectation. He read a few Thracian posts then actually saw Dodds play and topped himself.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 I think he died of over-expectation.He read a few Thracian posts then actually saw Dodds play and topped himself. [something irrelevant about Fryatt]
The People's Hero Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 [something irrelevant about Fryatt] I might have known you'd turn up - the armed guard! TPH is obnoxious enough without Fezjoke and Mabnotaclue beside him. It's a shame because I used to like you. I suppose it just goes to show how easily a young, bright, enterprising mind can be twisted and subverted by an evil, machiavelian presence like TPH. You really should pick you friends more carefully. I may not have the vim, vigour and physical prowess I once had as a fifteen times world squash champion, ever undefeated (not for a moment bragging or saying I'm good though) - but I know I'm truly be an athlete when I catch you in the idiot stakes. Irrelevance? Well - you'd know all about that.
Thracian Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 Please don't start this again Thracian. He's far from our worst striker and you know it. Two League goals and one in the cup from 25 appearances. Even with the best will it's getting hard to make a case for him. Even the much maligned Dodds has seven, playing mostly in midfield. Who would you see as our worst striker?
Thracian Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 1. Neither does Elvis. That was the point. ARRGHHH.2. You've just been baited and then gone and bitten. I'd almost forgotten Elvis even existed.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 I'd almost forgotten Elvis even existed. I know, our OS is like Pravda. (That's just for you Alex)
Ric Flair Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 Two League goals and one in the cup from 25 appearances. Even with the best will it's getting hard to make a case for him.Even the much maligned Dodds has seven, playing mostly in midfield. Who would you see as our worst striker? But what about his crucial half a dozen or so goals he's scored for the reserves this season? I thought they counted in some players cases?
Jimmy Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 But what about his crucial half a dozen or so goals he's scored for the reserves this season? I thought they counted in some players cases? Only if they have graduated from our academy
Dames Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 But what about his crucial half a dozen or so goals he's scored for the reserves this season? I thought they counted in some players cases? Not for Fantasy they don't.
Thracian Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 But what about his crucial half a dozen or so goals he's scored for the reserves this season? I thought they counted in some players cases? I've given him stacks of praise for those and even said they should earn him a return to the first team or the bench on at least two occasions but however much people hype the guy he's an almost constant disappointment and his record clearly confirms that. Don't think I get any pleasure from the fact, cos I don't.
Rodders Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 Hows Odihambo doing? I've not seem him play, but from the stats, it doens't look like he's been given much of a chance to impress yet - 1 start, 5 sub appearances (3 in the cup). That's only 91 minutes in total, more than half of that against Rangers at Ibrox! League Hearts (H). sub. 5 mins Rangers (A). started, got 51 mins. He was playing as a lone striker though, and "the final ball between midfield and attack just wasn’t there and led to a frustrating first 45 minutes for Eric Odhiambo." Aberdeen (H). sub. 5 mins Kilmarnock (A). unused sub Hibs (H). unused sub Inverness CT (A) unused sub Cup Clyde (A). sub. 18 mins St. Mirren (A). sub. 9 mins Aberdeen (A). unused sub St. Mirren (H). sub. 3 mins

TrickyTrev Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 Bet he's loving it on loan! Not that I think he'll make it. 91 minutes more than he would have got for Leicester.
Jimmy Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 91 minutes more than he would have got for Leicester. I dunno I could see Ollie trying him on the wing ...
FleckneyFox Posted 22 February 2008 Posted 22 February 2008 On SSN they r doin an interview with Conrad about what happened at the weekend. And Stockport have now replaced him with John Ruddy!
