How are we playing technically?, englands biggest problem is keeping the ball, playing the ball out from the back etc.....

Jack Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 Well Wayne Bridge has been woeful when he's played for England imo, so that leaves Nicky Shorey (**** off Damo) or Joleon Lescott. I'd play Lescott, he has been solid whenever he's called upon and also may even grab the odd goal.

They're managing to keep the ball but they don't know what the fook to do with it, their play is so negative and square, lacking in movement and any sort of inspirational play. Simply put they are boring the arse off me! Is it over?The Apprentice is sodding excellent in comparrison to the first half. I should have took your advice!

Simi Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 That was dreadful. Uninspiring and the lack of creativity was worrying. Ashley Cole was very, very poor and Downing almost managed to eclipse him. Still a very long way to go to get this team right.

In a way i was pleased we didnt qualify for euros because everyone gets all obcessed saying we'll win the tournament, which we wont and Mclaren fooked off. Flag making business' will go broke. Anyway i didnt bother tuning in, anyone have good/bad games?

He is'nt the goalscorer we need. He comes looking for the ball instead of staying up top, and unbalances the teams shape. Defoe/Ashton and Owen up top. So glad i watched the apprentice instead.
