FleckneyFox Posted 27 March 2008 Posted 27 March 2008 I can see Hendo keeping the No.1 when Alnwick returns.
Jimmy Posted 27 March 2008 Posted 27 March 2008 no such thing, the guy is a joke. to be fair Hendo has been playing so well lately
Father Ted Posted 27 March 2008 Posted 27 March 2008 I can see Hendo keeping the No.1 when Alnwick returns. Definitely.
Bert Posted 27 March 2008 Posted 27 March 2008 He went back for treatment because the player's club like to treat injured players themselves.
gosfox Posted 27 March 2008 Posted 27 March 2008 Well done to Hendo..... he has improved no end since his return to the 1st team and against Hull probably saved us from a five goal humiliation
Father Ted Posted 27 March 2008 Posted 27 March 2008 He went back for treatment because the player's club like to treat injured players themselves. The same happened to Collins John
MPH Posted 27 March 2008 Posted 27 March 2008 Well done to Hendo..... he has improved no end since his return to the 1st team and against Hull probably saved us from a five goal humiliation got to agree with you there... some cracking saves in that game - the penalty save was just one of them...
Ric Flair Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Any news on Alnwick's injury? I'd have expected him to be back now personally. Makes you wonder whether Ollie has told him to go back to Spurs and stay there as Hendo put in a couple of decent performances. Let's hope we don't live to regret that one.
SamL Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Since Alnwick became injured, I thought Hendo was pushing to be considered ahead of Alnwick in the pecking order. He put in a few good performances but he was shyte against Sheffield United. I think out of the two, Alnwick is the better keeper but should Hendo be dropped after one bad game amongst a few good performances. Would be a bit harsh but we all know he's not the greatest keeper in the world as he's proved far too many times. Being dropped isn't going to leave him with any confidence. But after the howler against Sheff United, will he have much confidence left? I don't think so. Alnwick for me against Colchester. He's been steady in the games he's played and put in some fairly decent performances. He needs to put in a big performance on Saturday.
Ric Flair Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 He's back. Should be ok for this weekend. A welcome relief. Henderson in the long run will always make elementary mistakes, we should be thankful for some of his decent performances recently but once he has a shocker, it's time to get the hell out of there as more are on the way. Alnwick to come back in please.
dandannieldanok Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Ben Alnwick is just as likely to make elementary mistakes as Henderson, Watford (A) and Plymouth (H) spring to mind.
lildave3 Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Ben Alnwick is just as likely to make elementary mistakes as Henderson, Watford (A) and Plymouth (H) spring to mind. Ian Walker made mistakes, David James made/makes mistakes, you don't think Henderson is a better keeper than those do you? Even Fulop made a cock up in his last game for us.
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Alnwick. sigh. Better than Henderson I suppose.
