thecannon Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Good on him . I never knew he came on against Sheffield United. And i was there!
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1307802,00.html[/url] Subsequently his career now goes tits up. Its what tends to happen here....
josh_baskin Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 I think he could prove to be a good signing as we need to build a good, relatively small squad of young players who can unite as a team, spoke to a few forest fans today at work and they seem to think its the only way out League 1 as going for older players looking for their last pay day will always set you back.
lavrentis Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 I like this lad. When he muscles up, he'll be a new Matt Elliot.
Koke Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 He is good on the ball and always looks for passing it on the floor. That alone is an improvement on our current defenders. I reckon he'll turn out pretty good for us.
Ric Flair Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 He should get the chance to progress at a quicker rate in League One than the Championship due to McAuley likely to be off and Kisnorbo crocked. Looking forward to seeing what he can do, he looked composed at times on Sunday albeit playing out of position.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Subsequently his career now goes tits up. Its what tends to happen here.... Typical optimism there! He has potential and I'd rather we be signing players on the up rather than Premiership/Championship hasbeens like some clubs do when they go down.
Ric Flair Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 this isn't a sign that IH isn't going anywhere is it? I was thinking that, but this deal was always meant to be made permanent when it was agreed a few months back. As Holloway hasn't heard whether he's getting the chop yet, it doesn't surprise me this has been sanctioned. The fact we're still outside of the transfer window, would again suggest this was agreed some time ago.
teblin Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 did alright on sunday, looked a bit heavy legged, but big good in the ait and got stuck in so hopefully he will come good.

davieG Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 He was shown to be decidedly slower than Stearman on Sunday.
lookwhaticando Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 this isn't a sign that IH isn't going anywhere is it? I was thinking that, but this deal was always meant to be made permanent when it was agreed a few months back. The club probably noticed a few positive reviews on Sunday/Monday, so decided to re-release this little news item in an attempt to cheer folk up a little. The deal was already agreed, and Worley was going to sign a three year deal at the end of the season anyway - all he had to do was put pen to paper, and now he has done so. We had already secured him from Chelsea, the signature was the only piece missing. It has nothing to do with the management team, in that case. It has no significance to the Holloway situation. Slow news day, then.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 I'm glad we've got him. He looks like he's got potential & if he beefs up a bit he'll have a good physical presence at the back as well. This also helps us out with cover if Kisnorbo or McAuley go
Cal Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 He's only 19 aswell, must have something about him if Chelski bought him.
Phlashman Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Interesting move. Of course he was going to be signed anyway. But surely there must of been some sort of discussion between Ollie and Milan? Though that said, normally with new signings don't managers make a few comments? I think he looked decent at the weekend, I think he's ment as cover for Kisnorbo/McAuley (which BTW I think both will be staying, Paddy cus he's injured and McAuley cus he's just signed a contract).
lildave3 Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Knew this anyway, pleased really, looks a decent player.
Thracian Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Funny how quick fans can be to get excited - and so often on the basis of one sighting. I've seen Worley play three times. He was okay at Stoke but twice in the reserves he looked decidedly shaky. I'll reserve judgement thanks.
l444ry Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Here we go again. Signing players over/before the new manager's head/appointment.
