Not on the same level, but I do hate it when I'm on tills at work, and if a kid's being naughty, their parent(s) would say 'be a good boy/girl or the man will tell you off'.

No, I will not tell your kid off. That's not my job. That's YOUR job. Deal with your own kid.

Do not get me started on kids in the workplace.

Mother's smacking their children, making them cry. It really is physical abuse in my eyes.

I once saw in town a mother (I assume) squatted down so her head was level with the kid absolutely screaming a torrent of abuse little more than a few centimetres from her face. And I do mean screaming. I was 30 yards away on a busy street and it could hear it... loudly.

It's not the smacking that's the problem, it's parents without self-control. Years ago that parent might have given the kid a good hiding - now they scar them mentally instead.

I'm not saying a good hiding should be given, just that it's the discipline of the parent that matters more than the type of discipline given.

They only say that to get their child/ren to behave, younger children are scared of adults they don't know, making them more fearful.

Maybe he's moaning because the song is a rip-off of two classics. I completely agree with Nod-e.

:yesyes:

I'm not really sure what your moaning at?

Wretch is signed to a label underneath the Ministry Of Sound umbrella, which isnt really a proper major, he's got full control over what he makes I'd imagine. So he probably wasnt told to make this song by the label.

Wretch? Is that the fella's name? Wow, er, okay.

Anyway, before I get side trac - Wait, Wretch? What? What?

No, I'll not go there. Back to the point. Him having control over his music surpasses my expectations slightly. I wouldn't have expected a 'musician' like good ol' Wrethchy to have a musical taste that extends further than the Black Eyed (fvcking) Peas. I therefore assumed it would have had to be recommended that he rip off the chorus from The Specials and everything else bar the lyrics from The Stone Roses.

The thing that annoys me most about the whole thing is that this guy is making money through taking what has already been done and simply applying it to today's woeful music scene (In other words he says gangster shit at a quick pace to a tune (utilising no talent of his own whatsoever.)) I suspect the reason that it works is because the generation that were born in to the era of downloading music are the listeners that largely determine what becomes successful (primarily through downloads and secondarily through networking), and they are, in general, unaware of his influences sources.

In fact, I take it back. The thing that annoys me most isn't people like Wretch. It's the stupidity of the people that enjoy that kind of music that royally pisses me off. Sums it all up really.

Please note: I may have been pretty generalising in parts here.

Please also note: I couldn't care less.

Gears well and truly grinded. Bed time.

Can't say I've ever had that  Though Co-op is just full of old people I guess

Could be worse though, eh, lildave?

I reckon that stems back from when he didn't have a job for years :P

Parents often see their kids as possessions rather than people and treat them as such. Most adults tend to forget that kids grow up and that when they do, they can choose whether or bot to have a relationship with their parents.

AOWW-stop moaning you're on the wind down now lol

Our 'summers'.

According to the weather forecast (Which some may say should be took with a pinch of salt) it's a case of beautiful sun today, really nice day, gone tomorrow...rain the day after. :nono:

I prefer 'inconsistent' Summers as it'll mean we won't have to worry about having any water droughts. It's not normal to have a Summer with just Sun and no rain. :nono:
