A fit & playing regular Fryatt will score you goals no matter what divison! Id profer to see him upfront than Howard or DJ! Fryatt is quality, Never had a regular run in the team because of his injuries, which is unfortunate! STICK WITH FRYATT PLEASE!

Yet again, 30 league appearances with 2 goals.

How can your first sentence hold weight when they are the facts?

Im with Ched on this.

He is the one player who has been consistently awful for us.

I wanted him out 2 seasons ago, after a woeful performance away at Coventry.

He doesn't score, he's slow, weak and lazy.

His body language screams out i can't be arsed, not ever has he looked like he's putting in effort and trying his best.

Some strikers are like that but at least they have a bit of class to score goals, but he doesn't even have that.

Sell him, problem is we may only get 500k at very most for him now.

Doesn't he have flat feet, or something? Didn't they have to give him special insoles, or something?

I'm one of his biggest critics, but I think he'll come good in League One.

A bit of blind optimism I suppose.

If we didnt get relegated I would say sell him, clearly the championship is above his level after 2 poor seasons. But I believe league one to be his level and under a new manager he may thrive, so for this season I would say keep him and hume. Campbell who is likely to attract a higher fee than fryatt and howard who is probably on high wages I would rather see go.

Let me just put this out there for all the pro-Fryatt people still remaining.

ELVIS HAMMOND scored MORE goals in LESS games than Matty Fryatt in the last two seasons.

75% of people on here either have no opinion on him or think that he will be dynamite, yet there seems to be about 2 people sticking up for him (the rest knowing fine well they become a target of the Fryatt Hate Brigade).

Speak up you ****ing wimps!

Either everyone is bored and clicked an answer to the poll, or people are taking the piss, or there is a minx of a Mod changing the results.

40% think he'll score for fun in League 1? Absolute nobcheese.

I voted C as in no opinion because virtually everyone has been a failure so for me it's really down to who Pearson thinks can do the job, if he decides it's Fryatt I'll go along with that if he decides to move him on I really couldn't care less.

Nothing to do with being a wimp more to do with being ambivalent.

Matty 'Blubber Merchant' Fryatt. He was part of the problem last season so fix it by getting rid Nige

Fryatt is at a stage where he probably needs a change. He's got some talent but I've always been concerned with his lack of pace. In a number of games he's shown some clever link up play and movement, though I'd imagine his confidence is shot after two years of failure.

Sometimes it's not enough having the talent if you're lacking mentally. I wouldn't be too sad to see him go.

If we keep Fryatt and he stays fit he'll score 20 goals this season.

If Mandaric and Pearson decide for some reason that the reserves need to play one game a day, then you may just possibly have a chance of being correct with that assumption..

Fryatt < Hammond.

Get rid.

I really don't get why people have an opinion on this either way. It's Pearson's decision. If he can get some good out of him, he should stay, if he can't, he should go. Since no-one knows yet, why make a decision now? That goes for people who are saying "Yeah he'll score 20 goals at least deffo" as well as people wanting rid.

I think i've made my opinion on Matty the fudge Fryatt pretty clear over the last two years.

GET HIM OUT. For the love of christ.

Your sig. :crylaugh:

If someone ala Jim Magilton is willing to pay way over the odds for him, then by all means let him go. But if nobody comes in for him with a decent offer, then we might as well keep him. In hindsight, we probably should have accepted Wolves £900.000 offer last season.

Conclusion - **** knows how he'll turn out for us. We just hoping for the best.

Ok I voted keep him.......but only 'cos he knows I know where he lives. Sure to scare the sh*t out of him. I'd ship Howard out, keep DJ and put Fryatt/Dodds/Key and Sappleton in the squad. No need to buy anyone else unless we lose Hume.

I think he would cut it in League One. While he's here, we might as well plan to use him. Campbell will be good at this level as well.

Who the hell is Key?

I'd keep him ahead of Howard and Hayles. He's been good in this league before and I'm sure he can again.

But I think he's got to put the work in during pre season and buold up some strength or speed because he seems to slow and weak at the moment. Good footballing mind though.

Your all so quick to have a pop and berate fryatt, no wonder the guy has no confidence! at least he doesnt have the mentaility of Dj campbell, where last season wouldnt travel with the rest of the team when he was injured.
