He is hanging up his sheepskin jacket and big fat microphone for the big tournaments at least! Love him or hate him, he has been a icon for commentary for what seems for ever.... "United have to score, they always score...." willy puller. John Motson used to be my favourite commentator but has sadly is becoming increasingly befuddled. Ever since Euro 2004 he's been losing it slowly and this year he's been embarrassing. Still, overall he's been a great servant to commentary.
