DJ Campbells future at Leicester is in doubt as Watford, Cardiff and Charlton look to secure his signature.

Will he be loyal to Leicester and help them back into the Champioship or go to a bigger club where he is offered more money?

Thracian has repeatedly said he's looking to move house near Watford - that would be handy for Watford (obvioulsy) or Charlton.

It'd be a shame as I think he'd have a fair but to offer next year but if we got close to seven figures for him I wouldn't be too bothered

Anyway, to post the typical response in here: Source?

He's a bit of a sicknote isn't he? I think I'd take a bonkers offer for him if one came in.

The onion bag rarely bulged when he did make it onto the pitch, although the guy does have pace when he's fit.

I think LCFC2007 was the one who posted a pile of shit last summer and in the Jan transfer window.

I certainly dont think the above clubs mentioned are 'bigger clubs' , and i hope he stays, he will do well in league 1

I'd take anywhere close to what we paid. Bearing in mind that I doubt he met the conditions for the extra £500k to bring it to £2.1m, we paid £1.6m and I guess I'd probably take £1.3m+

He's posted it in blue to make it look like a link - isn't that enough!

balls,

does this mean we can all just make our own transfer speculation for a laugh?

if so,

Patrick Kisnorbo is favoured by Birmingham despite his injury, Matty Fryatt is set to join Rochdale...

would obviously be one of the best strikers in the league and would like to see him in a leicester shirt next season but at the end of the day if he doesnt want to play then he should go.

I don't know what games some of you were watching last season.

I think if anyone is interested in DJ Campbell we should sell him.

He is absolute garbage, he has no technical ability and despite being quick he is too small and isn't strong enough.

His goal scoring record for a centre forward is awful, he scored just 5 in 32 appearances for us last season.

For a striker who's fee could rise to £2.1million, that is pathetic.

Totally agree mate, what pissed me off more than any of his appalling stats was the apparent lack of effort in every game I saw him bar the very first game of the season against Blackpool. I'd sell at the first sniff of an offer.

I'm not fussed whether anyone goes or stays but I don't think you can judge their potential effort based on last season because they were all bad which leads me to believe it was circumstances, managers, tactics etc rather than individuals.

Players like Campbell, Clemence, Oakley were putting in the effort for their previous clubs we need to hope therefore that Pearson is able to turn this around, in fact it's his most important task to generate enthusiasm, commitment to the cause, 100% effort and a team spirit to die for becuase I believe they all have sufficient ability to perform successfully at this level.

If he feels that any player is not capable of that then get rid whatever the cost.

I like your confidence - but I don't share it.

He has no motivation - he doesn't care for the club or for playing and demonstrated that week in week out last season. Whether he has the potential or not to score goals is not something I think is important, we need CANDO guys not MAYBES (nothing personal here Maybes :D ).

Anything over half a million and I'd snap their hands off.

That said, any team pushing for promotion from the Championship isn't going to touch someone like Campbell with a bargepole unless he's piss cheap.

Or Martin Allen becomes their manager.

I have to agree with every word you have said there!

Campbell has been unhappy at Leicester ever since Allen got the boot. I cannot see why being relegated would have changed that either, infact i'm sure he wants out asap. If so, then let him go. Get back as much as possible for him and bounce him out.

Posted
I personally hope he does not go as i was gonna have a checky £tenna on him being league1 top goal scorer.

You've got more money than sense then and this is coming from someone who is known for some crazy betting.

How do u know i bet crazy,

DJ with his pace and finishing in this division is gonna get goals and definetly at home on a good pitch, anyone with abit of cash to bet is gonna place a few quid on one of the top teams strikers. Fryatt is another worth looking at.
