Finchy Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Oops sorry I missed it, glad someone has mentioned him tho Great clip http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=U1H913UqQ6w
purpleronnie Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 He's the worst comedian I've ever had the misfortune to see live, the only saving grace is the fact that it's almost impossible to under stand what he's going on about.Butlins adult weekends have a lot to answer for! Thought it was only me, my brother in law loves him but I cant understand a word. Apart from Bill Hicks who is the best and most important comedian in the past 30 years I have to admit I do like Russell Brand, cant stand Jimmy carr after 2 minutes of his one line jokes I'm bored a similar comedian to Alan Carr but much much better is Steven wright. Eddie izzard is great, Stewart Lee is good too, Cant stand peter Kay all that 'remember when' stuff is lame but did like Phoenix nights.
Simi Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Michael Mcintyre's Live at the Apollo at the weekend has just had me in stitches, watched it on iPlayer. Quality.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 The bit on Argos was also spot on. Did you catch his first set on Live At The Apollo?
Simi Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Did you catch his first set on Live At The Apollo? Yeah, pretty sure I did. Name some bits he did to refresh me.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Yeah, pretty sure I did.Name some bits he did to refresh me. He talked about the Underground, and making an imaginary bus when it snowed.

Webbo Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 FunnyEddie Izzard Emo Phillips Jimmy Carr Andy Hamilton Chris Morris Jeremy Hardy Russell Howard Tommy Cooper Not Funny Victoria Wood Joan Rivers (women just aren't funny apart from the occasional French and Saunders or Jo Caulfield) Really?
Nationwider Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 No Stewart Lee in the top 10??The top five in the favorite 10 are all shite, and the bottom five are ok. Eddie Izzard clearly the best there though. I used to really like Ricky Gervais, but I think he's lost it big time. People just don't get Harry Hill either. Great call. I forgot all about Lee. Absolutely brilliant stand-up, very clever guy. I'd kick Noble out of my top ten in favour of Lee.
Corky Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 My top 10: 1. Sean Lock 2. Hugh Dennis 3. Reginald D Hunter 4. Lee Mack 5. Tim Vine 6. David Mitchell 7. Omid Djalili 8. Dara O'Briain 9. Paul Merton 10. Harry Hill Just missing out are Ian Hislop, Stewart Lee and Bill Bailey.
Simi Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Watched Marcus Brigstocke's stand up at the Apollo earlier. Top class, loved it.
