Unabomber Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 That Shappi is actually funny Not imo, the majority of her routine is about her race.
lavrentis Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Not imo, the majority of her routine is about her race. I found it amusing, probably because not a lot of people can say what she said.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Not Going Out is appalling. (asking for trouble posting that at 11.44pm on a Friday night in the Comedians thread)
lildave3 Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Not Going Out is appalling.(asking for trouble posting that at 11.44pm on a Friday night in the Comedians thread) It's really not, this is just one of the poorer episodes. The first series is belting.
Libertine Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Not Going Out is appalling.(asking for trouble posting that at 11.44pm on a Friday night in the Comedians thread) Ugh, indeed it is. I love Tim Vine and Lee Mack, but that's truly awful.
GLC Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 i thought russle howard was on tonight , but no luck, still pretty funny!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 It's really not, this is just one of the poorer episodes. The first series is belting. Spot on. However I defy anyone not to have laughed when Lee Mack answered the door in that shrunken England shirt with Diana Ross playing in the background.
Lovejoy Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 Spot on. However I defy anyone not to have laughed when Lee Mack answered the door in that shrunken England shirt with Diana Ross playing in the background. That was truly legendary .
lildave3 Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 Jimmy Carr on C4 tonight Recorded it, watching it now. Not the first time i've seen it, but it still cracks me up Brilliant.
Webbo Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 Russell Kane is on Live At The Appollo tonight. He's like comedy marmite, but I think he's quite funny. Worth a watch if you've not seen him before. It tells you something about the quality of a TV show when Al Murray is the funniest thing on it. The only comedian ever to be less funny than Russell Kane was the woman on just before him.

Mr Happy Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 I used to think Alan Carr was alright on the SNP but now I cant stand the guy, he gets right on my nerves. I can't stand Gina Yashere either. In no particular order my favourite comedians at the minute are Omid Djalilli, Billy Connolly, Harry Hill, Paul Merton and Jack Dee.

Tommy G Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 That Arab fella is brilliant, can't put a finger on his name though
lildave3 Posted 7 December 2008 Posted 7 December 2008 She is dreadful. Truly dreadful. Bit harsh, was watching her on the world stands up the other night, some good stuff. She wasn't bad in Last Comic Standing either.
