Monk Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 George Carlin (RIP). Best Stand Up ever! Other than that I loved it when Alan Davies did a couple of stand up sketches, wish he'd do it again.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 Anyone familiar with this bloke? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_O'Doherty Not seen his routine, but he was a guest on the Jon Richardson show on 6 Music and seemed really funny, and a nice laid back sort of bloke as well

To anyone that hasn't seen him live. GO. My ribs were aching by the end of the night. I was going to post that, saw it on his Myspace the other night, the man on the tube is brilliant, I've never laughed so hard. Even the metro readers have a look hahaaha
Wycombe Fox Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 I can't believe we're 5 pages into a thread about comedians and nobody's mentioned Titus Bramble. Well he makes me laugh.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 It wasn't Dagger's list! Oh yeah... in that case, now that I read it again I kinda agree. I really need to read stuff before I jump into a thread BTW, funniest thing on TV at the mo is this...
Benji Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 BTW, funniest thing on TV at the mo is this... Each to their own
Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 I saw it on Saturday. It was as funny as something with Huw Dennis in could possibly be. The kids get all the best lines

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 People like Lee Mack. ****ing hell, every time I have seen him on tele he's been woeful. Never judge a comic by a few panel show appearances.

That's fooking brilliant. Some great acts on there and he comperes and is funny as fook on his own anyway.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Russell Kane is on Live At The Appollo tonight. He's like comedy marmite, but I think he's quite funny. Worth a watch if you've not seen him before.
