Jonezy Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Shen is taking the piss.... I don't think WBA is after Fryatt. Maybe WBA are looking at one of the Wolves' guys, and Wolves are looking at Fryatt for replacement. 4m for a league one striker with a contract expiry in the summer is just not realistic.
Nationwider Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Perhaps Mowbray can already see double relegations on the horizon and sees Fryatt as the perfect choice to get Brom out of League One in 2010/11?
Cobbo Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 I think you can see similarities between Phillips and Fryatt - not that Fryatt is near that level yet - but this would suggest Mowbray perhaps wanting him as they have really missed KP this year. But as has been said, perhaps in view for next season rather than this.
Flynny Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 Phillips can belt a shot into top corner from 30 yards, Fryatt can roll it in to the bottom corner from 15. I'm nitpicking but I'd love to think how many he'd score with a genuine shot on him.
Ric Flair Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 Phillips can belt a shot into top corner from 30 yards, Fryatt can roll it in to the bottom corner from 15. I'm nitpicking but I'd love to think how many he'd score with a genuine shot on him. His finish against Crewe, showed he's got quite a venomous shot on him but he does prefer to place or curl it than often go for a dig straight off the laces.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 I keep having wierd visions of Fryatt signing for Celtic and becoming a hoops legend.
Master Fox Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 WBA for Fryatt - RL lol lol lol lol lol BANK!
Ross-Kemp Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 I keep having wierd visions of Fryatt signing for Celtic and becoming a hoops legend. I fooking hope not

Brainy Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 Not quite obvious as to why you posted the same thing six times.
Jack Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 Not quite obvious as to why you posted the same thing six times. Just incase you didn't get it the first 5.
Samilktray Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 Just incase you didn't get it the first 5. You know what I mean. Only trying to help to get my point across.
gosfox Posted 17 December 2008 Posted 17 December 2008 Fryatt will sign a new contract tomorrow. Knowledge or guessing???
Chrysalis Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 For me Fryatt is priceless, he is the difference between us going up and being stuck in this league. Dont sell him and risk losing him for nothing in the summer.Promotion is more important than cash. fully agree. Instead of valuing a player value the price of promotion.
Maybes Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 fully agree.Instead of valuing a player value the price of promotion. £2,000,000 near enough
morris1234 Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 this is bollocks, mowbray was quoted today saying that they have no funds for january, only loans will be made and only if the players are better than what they already have! whther it be experienced prem players or youngsters from the big teams (vela etc)

barmy76uk Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 Really? i have just heard a rumour from a everton fan that he will be joining them on january the 1st for £3 million!
The Stig Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 i have just heard a rumour from a everton fan that he will be joining them on january the 1st for £3 million! That's that settled then. I'd be very very surprised. If it is true, David Moyes needs shooting, the guy isn't even proven at Championship level.

If it is true, David Moyes needs shooting, the guy isn't even proven at Championship level. On the other hand Everton have a massive striker crisis due to injuries so might be prepared to take the risk. Doesn't ring true to me, but you never know! Simon
