Katy Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Well done Nige.http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1505540,00.html Hope that bloody curse doesn't strike. I was thinking that! 'Played Nige, thanks for giving Leicester fans something to cheer about for a change. Came across really well on SSN as well.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Good thing it's a cup game next and not league.
Ultra Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 At least if the curse does strike, the franchise won't gain ground on us.
Brainy Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Did he win that coke bottle dipped in silver paint?
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Good thing it's a cup game next and not league. Couldn't agree more
Milky Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Sky actually did some research on the "curse"and it's a complete myth.
Corky Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Well done Nige, the 4-0 win over Peterborough probably swayed it in his favour, but still, 13 points from the five matches is a great return.
Steven Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Sky actually did some research on the "curse"and it's a complete myth. Not according to Boc on TB. It is a statistical fact that City teams have lost more games than they have won immediately after a manager of theirs has received this award - and the percentage of losing games is higher at home than away. Whether there is any connection is debatable but the fact remains.
Zingari Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 i reckon mrs pearson could make good use of that trophy
demon_dog Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Good thing it's a cup game next and not league. At least if the curse does strike, the franchise won't gain ground on us. Thankfully it's the FA Cup on Saturday.

Vardinhio Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Good work Nige. Everyone is proud to have you as our manager.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 I wouldn't piss on that award of it was being slowly burnt by yobs.
Lillehamring Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 ha ha - kamara must have said that through his grinding teeth...
Flynny Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Regarding the curse: managers who get MotM are normally those whose teams have been on statistically improbable winning runs that have to end sometime. The illusion of a MotM 'curse' is just that those runs can't very often last a lot longer.
Fox in a Box Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 whats he want a fooking medal! Get on with job its only half done. Then and only then can you smile
bluebeau Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Good work Nige. Everyone is proud to have you as our manager. I agree 100%, well done big Nige, BUT ANY CHANCE OF A SMILE???
