soley118 Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 Leicester City have today completed the capture of Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley on loan until the end of the season. The 19-year-old, who can also play in defence, has been a mainstay in the United reserve team since graduating from their under-18 side. His perfoamnces for the Reds second string last term earned him a nomination for the Reserve Team Player of the Year award, and he was also called up to Sir Alex Ferguson's first team squad for their pre-season tour of South Africa this term. He can play centre back apparently, could be filling in for tunchev
lavrentis Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 I signed him on FIFA 09 before he signed for us. If he's good for us then that can't be bad.

MC Prussian Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 Quite a force, that Cleverley... Has speed, eye and what a bang on his right foot... And that from outside the box! Just recognized Manucho in that video, who's himself leaving ManU on loan to Hull.

Hitesh Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 Good signing. 'Cleverly' done by NP. Everyone was thinking it and thought it was terrible but you took it one step further and just had to! Shame on you! ----- Good move by Pearson. The kid is doing well in the reserves but I bet he is eager to show Fergie what he can do in a more competitive scene so hopefully he will come good. Also good competition for King and Davies and will keep them on their toes. Doubt he will be cover enough for CB so I still reckon we should get someone in. Looking forward to seeing what he has got! So many of the top managers send players to work with him.
Carlos9 Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 If he turns out good what are the chances of signing him? We have afew loan players now. When we go up it could all go wrong.
