Yes like: Blue Army We're in it together One Team One Dream One Shirt I wouldn't mind 1884 - 2009 put somewhere, say on the bottom edge in smallish print
Jay Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 it seems obvious that we will probably go down the charity route in which case a local charity like Rainbows should be near the top of the list. Although as someone who has lost a close relative to cancer I think Macmillan do an amazing job and don't get the credit they deserve

Sorry that you lost someone close but that has nothing to do with the club or the fans. If you want to support McMillan (and they deserve it) do a sponsored run. Why should we go down the charity route. This is about the club and nothing else.
Corky Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 It's a great idea, but I can see something embarrassing on the front.
Collymore Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 "The loss of revenue from a commercial major sponsor is a price worth paying for this one-off special year." :crylaugh: Milan really is the king of PR! What he really means is - no companies have any spare cash at the moment so I'll use it as a sweetener for the fans! I agree with everyone saying nothing on it though. It would be nice to see a retro shirt like the ones you can buy in the shop at the moment
RowlattsFox Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Blank will probably look good but I think I'd want to see what the design is like before I say what I want on the front.

Hackneyisblue Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Blank will probably look good but I think I'd want to see what the design is like before I say what I want on the front. [/quot You have me confused, what has the design of the shirt got to do with it. Whatever the design is surely it is ruined by having a sponsor on the front. Do you think a big crips or spongebob actually improved the shirts.
morris1234 Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 That'll do have that bit instead of that badge, just have the fox shape in a circle, but just the outline of the image, and in silver.
izzetafox? Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Blank will probably look good but I think I'd want to see what the design is like before I say what I want on the front. i agree on that, i like the idea of blank but if its simular to this years shirt it will be in danger of looking like a mass produced sunday league shirt, if we change to a different make, i.e adidas and a better fit then it potentially could look good left blank
AjcW Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Okay i dont know if this is a good idea or not but....... How about our foxes crest just bigger and in the middle... i dunno am i mad.... with 125 anniversary etc just below.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 How about we have the following printed on it. availableminge.com
Guest Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Quite like the idea of having it blank but, as davieG said, having something to commemorate the anniversary on it somewhere. Wouldn't mind having a charity sponsor on there, but would prefer it blank I think

Anyone like this idea or not .... id design it but ive got a new laptop and im still finding out were everything is haha.
Monk Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 I doubt it will be left blank as putting a charity on there would be more beneficial. I'm sure corporate sponsorship must be struggling right now, and if we are to get a corporate shirt sponsor it would be nice to have Walkers back with a simple logo, not the huge circle! As far as charities go, there are a few in Leicestershire which would go down well I'm sure. Just so long as it doesn't involve an oversized stupid motif I don't really care. Would be awesome if Foxestalk could sponsor it hahaha.
