can we mess this up

Not going to blow it and the main reason is that were managing to win games when were not playing that well. This is a sign of a team that is going up. Also Pearson has done a great job by building a team good enough to win league one. Next year is a whole new ball game and he has to build a side capable of competing in the championship. Ive got faith in the manager.

dont get me wrong when i started ths thread i wasnt saying we was gonna cock up i just wanted to see other peoples opinions i think people look far too much into it after beating northampton today we are another three points nearer any by no chance at are we gonna piss the championship its different class of team and we are gonna have to keep the morale and invest in a few players to keep it up but by league ones standards we have pissed it and lets hope in a few seasons we can make it bac to the premiership where we belong

What a pointless thread this is.

Obviously we can still mess it up the seasons not over yet, its just highly unlikely we will.

To mess this up we will have to go on a losing streak of 8+ games, and unless the team coach crashes and half the squad are killed, i cant see it happening.

We could still mess it up- if we continue to pick crap like Steven Howard every week who does nothing all game, every game

Why do you find it funny?

Lets look at some examples...

Swansea, MK Dons and Peterborough all got promoted last year and at the moment are all on course to at least have a place in the play-offs. They've come up with confidence and kept that going throghout the season. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule, but I'm pretty sure it's an aid.

Look at teams that come down after having a shit season like Derby, they're really struggling and don't look like doing anything this season.

I think it's a valid point.

Love watching Swansea play quality out fit.

I would like to think we have it in the bag, but we are Leicester after all and if anyone could fook it up it will be us.

Things are happening just as I hoped they would. We are pulling comfortably clear at the top and leaving everyone else to fight it out.

We have to stay focused though, it aint over til its over.

I was starting to feel confident... now loads of people are saying "it's in the bag" makes me nervous. We could easily cock this up and nobody should be saying things like "it's in the bag" with so many points still to play for.

Agreed Babs.

Over the past seven seasons 84 points would always be enough for a team to win promotion from this division. That means that we need 20 points from 18 games - which is close to relegation form. In short there is no way on Earth that we are going to mess this up - if anyone thinks otherwise then I'll gladly offer them 20-1 that we don't get promoted!

i wont say we are up untill it happens & if we do it i think we will need a few good players to come in to keep us there as we have a few loanies who will go back to there respective clubs

We won't mess this up, us fans deserve this after what we have experienced in the past few years, I completely agree let's just enjoy ourselves!

Optimistic as i am, I'm still not going to go around bragging about us going up just yet.

Theres always that slight chance we could end up with egg on our faces.

To be fair, Wolves are the undisputed Champions of the choking league.

Notoriously known chockers.

You obviously haven't been down the Way too often in recent seasons - especially on days when the Sky cameras are present.

Give it a rest you arsehole. We drew a game at home, we're still 11 points clear.Nobody died, just get over it.
