Ultra Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Quality, glad Fryatt scored aswell, hopfully he'll start scoring plenty again. On 20 League goals for the season now - first City player to reach that mark since Dickov. Nice touch by Pearson to mark the feat by bringing Dickov on. But next time, give Gradel or Chambers a go on the bench.

Corky Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 That was brilliant fun - snowballs, goals, King & Cleverley, everyone (almost) stood and sang. I loved everything except £3.40 a pint and the dumb pie stall. Brilliant. I wonder what your mate Beaumont Fox thought of it all Dags?
Ashley Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Pleasing victory tonight, well done boys keep it up.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Isn' this great news to wake up too, Today will be a good day
Alexikokopops Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 I text Fez to ask him what the goals were like (I was out tonight). His response: Fryatt tap in. King great move set up by Howard. Cleverley class goal from an even better move. Howard onto a long ball round the keeper. Cleverley MOTM awesome
Alexikokopops Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 That was brilliant fun - snowballs, goals, King & Cleverley, everyone (almost) stood and sang. I loved everything except £3.40 a pint and the dumb pie stall. Brilliant. £3.40 a pint? That's a bargain! As I stated above Fez thought Cleverley was MOTM, would you agree?
Daggers Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 I wonder what your mate Beaumont Fox thought of it all Dags? Let's have a guess - I am figuring she hated the defensive substitutions, tired of Howard, found the wing play tedious and overall reckoned the play was worth an average of 5 out of ten. See if I'm wrong...
Monk Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 It's like cheating on Football Manager to win all your games. Awesome We are UNBEATABLE!

Cobbo Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Just watched the goals on SSN - Kings was wonderful, really smashing. Great ball to him by Howard, great touch by King and wonderful finish. Lovely.
StanSP Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Cleverley's goal was best I think. Totally fooled the defender and neat finish. And well taken goal by Howard
Cobbo Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 4 well taken goals - especially by Cleverley. Cleverley's goal was best I think.Totally fooled the defender and neat finish. And well taken goal by Howard Watching it on tv - it was like Ince was just asking him to pass it into the net though. Lovely stuff mind.
Salieri Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 That's as many as any other team has got at home in this league. We were in cruise control for the last half-hour tonight. Surely we can't slip up now? I am liking this new found positivity Ultra! Maybe I had you wrong after all!
Corky Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Cleverley's goal was best I think.Totally fooled the defender and neat finish. And well taken goal by Howard The second one was quality- Howard's chip ball through, Kingy's touch then composure.
STUHILL Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 TOP STUFF yet again!! We really are a mile away from other teams in this league. So does make me think, how do you think this same team would be doing in the Championship now??

Daggers Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Make no bones about it - Walsall were dreadful. It was just like a fixed FM08 match where you control both teams and fill the other side with crap players, crap tactics and a crap pre-match managerial talk...and then feel guilty when the scoreline starts to look daft so you engineer a goal for the other side. We really, really don't belong in this league. Roll on a very messy Saturday - I think I may develop cirrhosis by kick-off.

Re. point B, let the messyness commence.
