I get what happened here. There's actual laws against this kind of thing, to prevent money laundering and tax dodging, and fair play to the company for allowing it once the travel agents came up with their workaround and kudos to the actual travel agents and people of Bromley who organised this.

After the disaster of posting my spare part away (see other thread)... Today i "installed" my replacement wired remote for the A/C.

After a quote of $600+ including the payment for having an apprentice as well... i bought and fitted the part for a total of $200 and 20 minutes.

Being able to return a parcel/item without leaving the house thanks to Royal Mail doing a collect from home service.

Be prepared for disappointment.

They were collecting something from us but gave a wide 'window' - anytime between 8 and 6 iirc.

This meant I had to stay in - which I did.

Sods law kicked in.

I went in the back garden to put something in the bin, I returned to our living room to see the van driving off and a 'Sorry we missed you card through the letter box.

He must have literally pulled up as I walked out the room, walked to our door, pressed the bell, instantly pushed the card through the door and left - all in less than a minute.

Ouch. That's unfortunate.

Used it twice and can't fault it so far.

Wayne Rooney growing massively into his TV pundit role at this world cup.

He had a pretty raw time of it both at the end of his playing career and with what he's done in management and was clearly struggling psychologically for a while, so it's good to see him growing into a role.

Yes he's decent.

I wonder if he'll go the same way as Neville who started reasonable but is becoming ever more unwatchable in my view.

His bleating on about how he couldn't see how Spain could possibly beat France was complete and utter cringe and shows how he's becoming more and more out touch.

I think Neville has let the TV role he has go to his head. Hopefully, Rooney would not.

Richards made a quip towards Rooney about being off the alcohol and not having had a drink for a while, so I imagine that has something to do with it. Good on him though whatever he's doing.
