What floats my boat.....

Miss the days years ago before it was all system-automated when I managed to accidentally locate the holiday spreadsheet.

Several days a year were added on.

Similar. Years ago we had to fill in and submit a timesheet to let HR know we'd taken any annual leave. Who was going to willingly do that until they were asked to? lol Many many extra days were taken and nobody was any the wiser.

Waking up to a lovely warm sunny morning, breakfast, and a walk along the river and through the park.

Perfect.

When the weathers nice in this country it really is a great place to be. Everyone else also seems in such a better mood as well.

Had a similar day including doing some bits in the garden, stopping every now and then for a nice cold beer. Can't beat it.

Travelling past empty sports venues in trains. Something really nice about a stadium, even a non league ground, away from matchday.

If the sight of empty football grounds floats your boat, then I recommend the 'Football Grounds - A Fans' Guide' by Duncan Adams. The book contains super-sexy photos of every league club's ground, plus those all-important vital statistics, such as pitch dimensions and ground capacity. Yummm....!
