AjcW Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Well I was hoping my prediction was going to go the way of Barca. Oh well... Inter have been fantastic.
purpleronnie Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Inter milan to win the CL. You read it hear first.
Fox You Forest Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 So you backed Barca (the favourites) from the start and now with four teams left you've predicted Inter, so your backing the two best teams out of the four, you make it sound like a master stroke.
C-man Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Why was Balotelli getting so much stick from the Inter fans? I know he's a miserable cvnt anyway but he'd only been on 5 minutes and they were going mental at him.

Also he recently came out telling everyone he was an AC Milan fan .
Darkzzz_ Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Jose and Inter Milan I have to take my hat off and salute you for a brilliant display tonight. They got it spot on and Barca didn't like it at all, Messi was contained well and I thought Inter defended brilliantly and hit a shaky Barca defence on the break. It isn't over just yet and it is going to take a vintage Barca display to turn it around. Obviously disappointed but that's football and I wouldn't begrudge a Serie A club winning the CL. I'll have some happy Inter fans at the dinner table tomorrow that's for sure. :-)
Tilley Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Did I hear right? That is the heaviest defeat under Guardiola?!
Tony Pine Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 hopefully barca go out so everyone can stop dickriding them

I'll have some happy Inter fans at the dinner table tomorrow that's for sure. :-) Inter were well worthy winners tonight and they did to Barca what Barca usually do to other teams - pressing, pressurising and giving Barca no space. It was typical Mourinho tactics but it worked a treat - 10 men behind the ball for long spells and then hitting Barca on the break. Barca will need to move the ball much quicker in the second leg because they played far too slow and with too many touches, allowing Inter to get behind the ball and into position. I don't understand why Guardiola threw Ibra straight into the team - he'd been out for the last few matches and in a game of this magnitude Barca needed players who were match sharp. Ibra was a passenger again. I felt sorry for Bojan, he's been doing well recently but come the big matches he's invariably dropped.
Koke Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Mourinho is fvcking cheeky. Fucking love him. He's a hero. Hope he comes back to the Premiership. Cheeky little bastard.
Knightonian Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Yes but you are a tyipcal German, a nob, an idiot, can't handle your drink, sing stupid football chants etc Germans can't handle their drink? Have you ever been to Germany?
Uncle Albert Posted 21 April 2010 Author Posted 21 April 2010 Still struggle to watch a game that doesn't involve an English team, don't know why, just can't even get into it. I was like that at the start of the match, there wasnt the English intensity about it in the first 20 minutes like you would get if an English team was at home but was still a brilliant game for the neutral, some of the first touch's that some players produced last night was rediculous, the midfield battle was immense. Cambiasso <3 I think Inter certainly deserved to win and I'm not Barca's biggest fan anyway but even I will say this preparation for the game is absolutely rediculous a team should not have to prepare in this way for a match, driving across Europe for one of the biggest games of the season, UEFA could easily of postponed this a week but common sense and UEFA just dont go. Mourinho is fvcking cheeky. What an interview, "they werent complaining when they laughed with the Ref last year against MY TEAM" Brilliant. Best manager in the world strikes again. Amen!
StanSP Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Why was Balotelli getting so much stick from the Inter fans? I know he's a miserable cvnt anyway but he'd only been on 5 minutes and they were going mental at him. He publicly said he's an A.C Milan fan. His attitude is disgraceful apparently. Doesn't listen or take advice from senior staff during training. Did I hear right? That is the heaviest defeat under Guardiola?! Yep true. Just as shocked as you. In any competition too! It's also the most goals he's conceded as Barcelona manager I think during his managerial career at Barca.

Postpone a game because they had to travel in a luxury 5 star coach/train and have an extra night over in a five star hotel being pampered by masseurs?

They drew 3-3 last season with Villareal.

MC Prussian Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 I see Bayern vs. Lyon is getting little to no attention on here. May I direct yours to the fact that Ribéry just received a red card for a very ugly tackle on Lisandro. Lyon in the final - unless Robben can work some more magic.
ScouseFox Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Nasty challenge. Lyon should win it from here. Is a straight red a 3 game ban in Europe?
Samilktray Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Why are they showing this game on ITV1? Who really cares about it enough in this country to warrant it being on ITV1 and not ITV 7 or something
