Boy was I wrong. He's gone about his job in such a professional manner, I fear that we'll struggle to keep him. Enough of the future, let's just savour the moment. Champions of League 1, Promoted, Job Done! Absolutely right. Underwhelmed is definitely the word to describe how I felt when NP was appointed. Delighted to say I got it completely wrong! Whatever happens next season and in the future, he's made his mark in the proud history of this football club. :city:

The first hour was very tense, but once the penalty (DEFINITE handball) went in, there was only gonna be one winner. The locals were not happy. A section of their fans kicked off Millwall-style with police, and the manager gave an extraordinarily-bitter post-match interview to local radio. But stuff them. This day is about US. We have won the league we are in. It's gonna be party time in Leicester, not just tonight, but for the next two weeks!

The best thing to do is enjoy it. 9 months ago we had some almost suicidal people on here and yes it's a poxy little league compared to where you were three years ago but the lads who go week in week out will tell you it's a great adventure and there's some good laughs to be had with the locals. On another note, when your lot were asking for Curbishley's head, you didn't think it through did you?

Compare the celebrations at Wolves to ours, you would have thought someone had died rather than us get promoted. Can't wait for Friday... watch out fan club, the champions party is rolling into town.
