Disabled supports club player of the year : Dion Dublin

Young player of the year :Richard Stearman

Goal of the season: Keith Gillespie vs West ham

PLAYER OF THE SEASON ... Keith Gillespie

Was a great evening. I spent a good 20 minuites chatting to Craig Levein. He's a top bloke and I'm full of hope for next season. He was telling me that he thinks Hughes will be the bizz next season with a full pre seaosn behind him. He also told me that he thinks Kisnarbo could be the difference between promotion and mid table next season. He said that he feels when we have the ball we are brilliant but when we dont we are poor, and we need someone to win it back. He said Kisnarbo will be the ball winner that will aid Williams and Highes and improve the team.

He couldn't talk high enough of Stearman, and told me that one of the most promising youngsters at the club is a young lad called Chambers

And you heard it here first Shehaan to start next week :)

Keith Gillespie, player of the year? :ermm:

And let's just pray that our Chambo won't become too big-headed by that comment ;) Great job, Ashley! At least they know about you, so just keep your head down and continue your good work

Gillespie??

He has done well but he hasn't been our best player.

101839

In all honesty I don't think anybody has been outstanding throughout the season. A couple of players have had very good patches, Gillespie being one of them. I can't think of anybody else that seriously deserves the award even if Gillespie doesn't.

Kisnorbo ball winner eh ha ha ha dont think so not what ive seen of him seems to get booked for rash challenges, cost us UEFA match against Schalke 04 diving injury prone, bit of a softy

From what I gather, Dublin and Gillespie turned their forms around, pretty much at the same time: When Levein came in. Nobody expected Gillespie to perform though, he was the surprise package. But honestly, Dublin has been THE player of 2005 for us... Ah well... Maybe they gave them 1 award each to please (and encourage) them. Especially Keith.

Now it remains to be seen whether they will be given new contracts

Well played Chambo mate. Keep at it and then in a few years all of us will be able to say we know a City legend :D

101955

.... I knew that Ashley Chambers when he posted on Foxestalk. :D:D:Dlol

Funny enough I was just checking I got the spelling right when I spotted this on an unofficial Chelski site about a 1-0 loss to Chelski in the reserves. Scouting Chambo already.:unsure::rolleyes:

Leicester lined up with a very young side (including the impressive 14 year old, Ashley Chambers)

Chelski - hands off. :angry::mad::D:D:thumbup:;)

he will be sitting down with Tim Davies this week to sort out the budget for the playing squad.

will start to look at contracts of the players he wants to keep.

there's a lot more to come from Paddy.

that Hughes will be a pivotal part of the team next season.

that Kisnorbo is a 'ball-winner' and will be a key part of the team next season.

that Stearman is by far and away the best young player at the Club.

that he doesn't think the groundshare will go ahead-especially if we get promoted(yippee)

that he thinks rugger is a girls game.

Nalis said:

he wants to stay cos he loves England and he loves Leicester.

in February when Hughes joined the club three clubs came in for him....Burnley,Coventry and FOREST(he turned Forest down straight away) he decided to stay here and fight for his place.

he has a lot of respect for Levein ands thinks he will do a great job for us.

he supports Bastia(who wear blue shirts)

the money isn't an issue for him anymore,he's playing because he can.

the worse injury he had was ankle ligaments which kept him out for 2 months.

when his son gets home from school he changes out of his uniform into his Leicester shirt to go and play.

that football fans and rugger fans should have their sports kept separate(he doesn't think the groundshare will go ahead either!)

that English football is the best in Europe.

that when he was in Italy he didn't enjoy his football because the game was too defensive-minded and boring.

that the fans in this country are the best in the Europe.

he also said that in France and Italy you NEVER get things like last night happening.

that i'm getting his shirt next week lol (woohoo)

Keep up the good work chambo. Let's hope Levein takes you on the pre-season tour to a few games, that will be good for you. Could you ask Levein what his intentions are for Dawson if you could?!! We need to know mate.

Haha someone in general sport brought up Ryan Smith and how bad we were, had to look back and see the blind optimism. Hughes and kisnorbo pivotal Gillespie and Dublin players. So glad out future was in the hands of sterman Sheehan and chambers!

Posted

well if we were that bad there must have been plenty other clubs in the league at that time a lot worse.

I remember thinking why cant we get a wealthy owner, that will sort everything out.
