Scow Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 I'm surprised by Warner: not because I don't particularly rate him, it's just that I can't see him being first choice. I can't see why he would want to swap one bench for another.

Plus, an aging keeper, a signing bonus comes in handy, and maybe he can get 2 years out of us where he only has one left at Hull? Edit - 3 years, we're normally that stupid with contracts!
jimmer Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 Biggest load of Tosh i have ever heard. I could have written/ or educatedly guessed exactly the same. Inside knowledge my arse cheeks. Going to start a new one called Knowitall2 and watch everyone follow my everyword - silly thread No no no............what a foolish comment Before long you will learn to Knowitall

Maybe, it's a good point. I think deep down he probably knows he won't be number one. I suppose he's been used to that all his career though.

It's amazing how many number two's move, to become a number two elsewhere! Just look at Cudicini. Richard Wright did it too I think. (From Arsenal) See we should be trying to get Hull to keep Warner and have a go at Boaz Myhill!

Bert Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 To be fair, Hayles travelled with the team on Saturday and Hendo was at Belvoir Drive today.
FilboFox Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Shame about Worley... never got the chance in the team... obviously not good enough. In Nige we trust.
FilboFox Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Actually... I'm surprised we kept hold of Dickov... but maybe he's a backup...
TrickyTrev Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Actually... I'm surprised we kept hold of Dickov... but maybe he's a backup... Who the hell is going to buy him?
flanimal Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Who the hell is going to buy him? Same club that bought Akinbiyi?
General Smuts Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Actually... I'm surprised we kept hold of Dickov... but maybe he's a backup... He got a 2 year contract at the start of the season so unless we buy out his contract or manage to sell him, then were stuck with him. Much like N'Gotty this season.
Milky Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I wouldn't be suprised if mandy offered Kisnorbo a new contract in order to sell for a transfer fee rather than release on a free.
StanSP Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I wouldn't be suprised if mandy offered Kisnorbo a new contract in order to sell for a transfer fee rather than release on a free. If he was offered a contract, it will more likely stop clubs from putting a bid in for him.
davieG Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 If he was offered a contract, it will more likely stop clubs from putting a bid in for him. Especially as they currently don't have to put bids in for him.
flanimal Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I think we can do better than Kisnorbo. I'd rather Tunchev, Brown, Hobbs and Morrison before that guy. And he's better than the bench, and he's going to be on good wages. Probably about 10,000 a week, maybe. He's got to go.
Jimmy Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 To be fair, Hayles travelled with the team on Saturday and Hendo was at Belvoir Drive today. it wouldn't surprise me if Hayles kept training with us until he finds a new club, I think what knowitall would of meant was the club has said go find a new club, if you need to go for a trial or medical then don't worry about training
knowitall Posted 6 May 2009 Author Posted 6 May 2009 To be fair, Hayles travelled with the team on Saturday and Hendo was at Belvoir Drive today. NP is not silly he took Barry in case another forward got injured, but he already had told Barry he did not intend him to play or put him on the bench. Paul is still injured and is still in contract. So he still turns up to get treatment. Leicester would like him not to, but hey he is still a Leicester player.

knowitall Posted 6 May 2009 Author Posted 6 May 2009 Knowitall,we understand you are not wanting to post names ect on potential signings... we value your input and would like you to keep on posting.. 2 questions! 1. do the 6 future signings MM spoke about contain any of the loanees from this season? 2. could you also elaborate without mentioning names what positions we are looking to fill with those 6 signings? thanks! I have no idea what goes on in the mind of Milan. I think looking at the squad even I can see where players are needed.
Brenfox Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I am soooooooooo full of bull I am ashamed. Sorry Southern Fox Any other news on transfers or anything?

You will find that it takes a long time and lot of posts which turn out to be true to become a trusted source on here. Speculation which occaisionally turns out to be right will not cut it.
