Logan's had is chance and simply isnt up to it, while his performances out on loan havent done anything to suggest he's progressed as a player. I'm no fan of Warner but Logan is a complete bomb scare and given the choice I'd plum for Warner over Logan every time.

Hope Wesolowski makes the grade. Always liked him, and he's been desperately unlucky with injuries. Only concern would be how many of the youth are being moved on? I thought our youth system was good, and I'd be disappointed if none of them were worth keeping around. What's up with that? Has Levi tainted them or something?

teblin Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 I'd be pleased with Warner and Stockdale as our 2 keepers. Obv Stockdale as first choice. Astrit is only a young lad and cannot really be judged on the games we have seen him, they other night when he came on the whole team were poor, and he just looked a bit lost. He looked like he had some ability, but a bit slow. Big Nige hasn't chosen to many duffers so far. I'd have thought it would mean 5 or 6 "new" players not those that were here last year

He looks far too slow and ponderous to be a decent player in English football.Warner I'd take as a sub keeper. Don't rate Martin much. Think there are better options than Gilbert but he'd still be a good signing. Exactly my thoughts.

StanSP Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Surprised that Warner is more likely to be permanent than loan. Think we need to go for someone quite a bit younger but obvs still good at Championship level. Stockdale seems a good shout, but then need equally good back-up and competition. Also glad all the key players are staying i.e. Oakley Howard Fryatt etc...
