Cox and N'Guessan

If Cox moved to Celtic:

- He would play for one of the biggest clubs in the UK

- He would play the biggest matches

- He would play the smallest matches

- He may not even make the team for the big matches and even some other matches

- It would be 400 odd miles from home

If Cox moved to Leicester:

- He would play for a team with good potential

- He would play some decent matches

- He would play some crap matches

- He would more than likely be a regular starter for us, and be more popular with the fans.

- It would be 80 odd miles from home

If I was Cox it would be Leicester.

We already knew knowitall listens in when he shouldn't and posts what he hears making educated guesses, it's not like the club would let him find stuff out and reveal it to us first is it.

If you knew who he was then you'd appreciate why the information comes through the way it does

Champions League or Championship.

Is Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final or does 2nd placed in the SPL get to play in the Champions League, too??? :P

He would make a huge mistake to go to Scotland, he probably wont get in their team and the standard is pretty rubbish. Mark De Vries was star attraction in that league... nuff said :giggle:

Trying to work this one out .... the standard is rubbish and he won't get in ...... begs the question why we'd want him then doesn't it????

The question that was answered 31 times last season..

I reckon there just getting more money out of us.

According to his agent, Cox would prefer a move to Celtic and Celtic and Leicester made bids ( http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...5339437,00.html ). Not sure how to square that with the Swindon chairman's claim that Celtic haven't actually made a bid. If that claim is true, then we are the only club to have formalised our interest, and the agent is presumably trying to encourage Celtic to get involved. That's my take at reading between the lines. If we are the only club involved, that would be a good sign.

This gives me a feeling that he wants to sign for us.Why would a trained proffesional put himself in a weak negotiating position by highlighting his client was very keen on the move??By saying that it takes the pressure off Celtic and puts it on Milan to stump up a better offer.

Not a bad call that!

If you want to compete for the SPL and in the CL, you dont buy players from Swindon.

There is no way Celtic would buy a Striker for first team football from Swindon (Div 3)

Judging from Pearson's comments about Neilson, Cox has gone back on his word.
