I realize that the pitches needs booking, length of matches and competition format all need working out, so if this is too early, close the thread and re-open it when necessary.

What we / he needs is a definitive list of people playing which we can turn this thread into if you don't mind me editing your original post.

No but in all seriousness, I'm really not trying to be a control freak I'm just trying to steer the whole thing in as much the same direction as it went last year. Hence St Mags and hence trying to rope davieG in to do the numbers & picking of players. There's always a temptation to try and make things better or to spice things up but you usually end up complicating things (like seeding players, no disrespect, but that's a recipe for disaster.) At the end of the day, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
