Having struggled to find new rock music that isn't banal, found cloud nothings album to be a great listen.  Also have a shrag album but haven't listened to it yet.

Arcade Fire's new album.

Disappointingly bland.

Big fan of them, but I've yet to grab this one.

I've pretty much heard the same review as yours from most people.

Listening to this for the first time right now..

I'd previously been jamming this all week though after being released on Saturday and it's another belter...

After listening to a lot of newer albums I'm going through some of my older one's.

Weld is one of my favourite live albums.

Nobody plays guitar like young Neil.

Still have Science Fiction by Brand New on repeat. My word what an album, Waste is sensational.

I've kinda been pre-occupied by Neck Deep this week so I still need to listen to this a few times but I was impressed with it on first listen.

I love it, just paid a few hundred quid to go and watch them in Glasgow.

Great bit of Hawkwind. I used to have an album by Nik Turner which was really good but can't remember the name. It was actually a promo CD, wish I could remember what it was called (or where it's gone).

Never really go into R.E.M when they were together, since then I've got all their albums, I really like the later stuff they did.

They were probably my favourite band around the "Life's Rich Pagaent" to "Document" era.

Somehow I lost track of them. I don't know the last 3 or 4 albums they did.

It's pretty different to their 80's stuff, definitely more pop.  They passed me by in the 80's I was probably too young although I did buy' the one I love' around 87 I think?, then 'out of time' came out and they were everywhere which is probably why I never really got into them very much.

I'm going to see these Wednesday............... Seen them first in Cardiff in the early eighties. They were excellent

When I found out they were gigging again went out and bought the back catalogue on CDs and tickets. Haven't found one album I don't like.

Great sound
