After listening to a lot of newer albums I'm going through some of my older one's. 

 

Weld is one of my favourite live albums.

Great bit of Hawkwind. I used to have an album by Nik Turner which was really good but can't remember the name. It was actually a promo CD, wish I could remember what it was called (or where it's gone).

Never really go into R.E.M when they were together, since then I've got all their albums, I really like the later stuff they did.

They were probably my favourite band around the "Life's Rich Pagaent" to "Document" era.

 

Somehow I lost track of them. I don't know the last 3 or 4 albums they did.

It's pretty different to their 80's stuff, definitely more pop.  They passed me by in the 80's I was probably too young although I did buy' the one I love' around 87 I think?, then 'out of time' came out and they were everywhere which is probably why I never really got into them very much.

I'm going to see these Wednesday............... Seen them first in Cardiff in the early eighties. They were excellent  

 

When I found out they were gigging again went out and bought the back catalogue on CDs and tickets. Haven't found one album I don't like.
