A few years ago I procured a tatty copy of Beowulf from a second-hand bookshop.

 

It was a very enjoyable read. So when I recently read of this release from Æþel Electronics .....

 

....... "Anglo-Saxon power electronics" dealing with middle-age warfare and "masticating the mythological poetry of Beowulf in a bed of medieval maelody and nettley noise" ........

 

..........well it went straight to the top of the wishlist.

 

A rather grandiose and somewhat pretentious description. But what can I say .... I love it because ...... it's like totally fookin' psychotic!

 

(PS If it was summer I'd play it LOUD with all the windows open and the neighbour's wouldn't have a freakin' clue what the for-fox-sake was going on!)😎
