My apologies.

My point remains valid though. The more football they can cram on the box the better as far as those nobends are concerned.

I love football, but there is only so much football you can watch.

I love football and if I wasnt going Newcastle, would probably watch every game :)

On another note do we know if we are playing boxing day yet? Fooking better be.

Why would they do that when they can keep their favourite brand of couch potato fan watching their channel all day long?

lol

It's not the "nobends" fault that Sky move the games!

Especially when every game they show is hyped up to such a nauseating extent.

Sky were the "nobends" I was referring to.

Yes!! This really, really did my head in.

"It's BIG. It's the game they've all been waiting for. Live from Deepdale. Preston versus Ipswich. Live. If you miss this game, your life will be emptier than Peter Andre's bed".

That's better.

I was annoyed when I first heard the Newcastle match had been moved to the Monday night, but for purely selfish reason's i'm now quite happy, I didn't realise I was away that weekend, so even if it was on the Saturday I wouldn't have been able to go anyway, and now it has been moved to the Monday, on Sky, I still won't be able to go, but i'll be able to watch it on Sky - If I can find somewhere showing it.

I know what you're saying and I agree with it, but they want to sell their product.

When we used to have football on the TV once a week, maybe even once a fortnight, there was no need to sell the product.

It annoys me too, but those matches were possibly the big games of the season (I maybe wrong though) so plenty of viewers were probably guaranteed. With some of the Championship matches, a massive audience isn't guaranteed, so Sky will hype it up to catch viewers' attention and make the match more attractive ;)

Used to look forward to Match of the Day in the sixties, it was the only exposure football had back in those days.

The coverage may not have been quite so good but it was still good to watch.

I know exactly what they're trying to do, and I would find it funny if it wasn't such a sad state of affairs. And I don't mean sad "boo hoo", either.

Town's away game at Leicester has been moved back 24 hours and will now take place at the Walkers Stadium on Sunday, January 10.

The move is to avoid a clash with the Leicester Tigers' rugby union side who are at home on January 9.

Fookin egg chasing cockends!

Right this is a genuine question, maybe they have i'm not sure but i've certainly not noted it before, have the Tigers ever moved for us?

Why did they even bother with the new stand? We always move for them, Fook it they should have ground shared with us and turfed us out of our own stadium.

why do we have to get our info from other teams sources. Can our own club not keep us informed when fixtures are? On another note, Id rather we had the boxing day game than them and i'd take some shit game in January moved. :)

I'm sure they can arrange something to make us move it. I dunno, perhaps there is a boxing day meeting at Leicester Racecourse and the police fear that the motorways will get to clogged up what with people coming into the City to watch the football, and people going to the racecourse.

On Leicester Tigers website it still says there game is on boxing day. This makes me nervous until something is confirmed. Please someone give me a link to say we are playing on Boxing day??

As I said i'm not sure maybe i'll be proved wrong, but i've never seen or noticed the Tigers ever moving for us, can't see them starting now.

Us moving to accomodate them on the 9th January hopefully indicates that we are in line to keep the Boxing Day game I would have thought.

Then again, this is LCFC we're talking about, so anything could happen...
