Slightly off topic but are Leicester going to be involved in any of the 10 championship games the bbc are allowed to cover this season?

4 games have been announced (Leicester not featured in any of these) So your guess is as good as anyone elses.

Looks like I'll have to drive to this one then...Maybe spend the night in a hotel so I can have a beer or three

£54.00 for 2 in a room, Newcastle central Travelodge.

Jib a 3rd person in ala southend, split it 3 ways (under £20 to stop over)

Must be a few decent bars/club/papillion style gaffs to spend a monday night in Newwy or could possibly try the sunday which would be good, and who knows maybe our LE postcodes won't bend us over, not a fan of driving back Monday night however.

Had planned on going up for my birthday weekend, but will have to miss it! Luckily can still make the match.

Yes :D

Just been informed I don't start school till the 3rd, so I can go again.

Just a question of getting home at 3 in the morning.

Hahahaha I love this news, purely because all the "Yeah, i'm going Newcastle away, big match" - from people who aren't even fans or haven't been for years. None of them will go now.

Fantastic.

Went to uni in the North East. So many of my mates are Geordies. Been looking forward to this ever since they got relegated, and even more since the fixtures came out. Was going to make a weekend of it.

Have to work on the bank holiday so can't make it. I want to cry. SKY are such twats. Why the hell would they put ANY newcastle game on a monday night, it's not reasonable to expect people to travel there then.

Anybody up for a petition?!

So the people that won't travel, will watch on sky.. More views?

Apparently you have to climb 14 flights of stairs to get there.

From football ground guide:

For the 2008/09 season away fans have been relocated from the North West corner of the top tier to the very far side of the Sir John Hall Stand.

So if it's the same this year, we'll be right at the top in the NW corner, which is top left in this photo.

I'm pretty sure away fans go right behind the goal (Top tier obvs) ash..

:D, welcome back.

I've read in various places that it's the NW corner, but then I've never been so..

We'll find out in less than two months anyway.

Yeah you're right

It is to the left of the Camera (if you're watching on tv) in the corner of the stand the camera is on

And we will be so high up the camera wont see us if we do get to celebrate a goal against them.

It will be wierd being so high up in the clouds

Gonna test the fitness of some of you golden oldies too, all them steps!

Would you really want to part-rent the largest turn in the world?

Bloody Sky, could have made this a Sunday game.

I had already booked my hotel in town for the Saturday, now I have had to cancel it.

No, I will not be going to the game on Monday as I have to be at work on Tuesday and don't fancy driving home after the game.

Like many others I will be in my local hostelry partaking of some liquid refreshment.

At least I'll be supporting the local economy as opposed to giving the geordies my hard earned cash.

This is the game that the majority of us have been looking forward to since it was obvious we were going up and they were going down. Now it's all been screwed up by a load of knob jockies.

I still need to be there though, but my enjoyment of it will be impaired slightly at the thought of having to come back at stupid AM ala Middlesbrough. It's an absolute joke!
