This means that Newcastle will have 3 games televised in one month :S

This also means Ipswich will have 2 televised in the space of a month too - I mean why? Ipswich? This is just typical of the way Sky TV work - if Roy Keane weren't managing them, they wouldn't give a crap about them. Now just because it sounds good on an intro, they want to televise their games.

Oh well. Feck 'em. I happen to think Keane will be a flop at Ipswich...

Superb now can either watch in pub save loads of money and travel time or go.

Now got 2 options :D I will probably see what the ticket prices are like.

:scarf::scarf: SkyHD here we come!!! :scarf::scarf:

I'll look forward to this one.

Hopefully they'll do plenty of aerial shots of the ground. It'll be a case of 'spot the taxi'. Shouldn't be too hard though to pick out one taxi in a sea of blue!

It's their supporters that will be messed around the most though, especially given their travelling distances.

I see what you're saying, 5 times in the first 8 weeks is a bit much.

I wish Sky would fork off, and leave football to the fans who actually go to the games. The lack of transport on the Bank Holiday is going to make this difficult for some fans, and then there will be those who won't fancy being home at 3am then having to get up for work the next morning, or will have to use holiday or whatever. What is worse is that it's bad enough hearing the away fans on tv as it is, and no doubt our stay at home fans will be moaning about the lack of support at the game from those who actually went.

Or use a bit of common sense. Why couldn't this match have been the 5.20pm kick-off on the 29th?

:appl:

It's just stupid. As others have said though, looks like the Geordies will get pissed around the most. Not surprising given the fascination of the average Sky viewer with sitting around on their arses watching MASSIVE clubs week in week out throughout the whole season.

This means I can actually watch it now in some shape or form. Was going to miss it due to Leeds festival but will probably just watch it on TV instead. Probably be too ****ed to go up and watch it.

Wankers. Wanted a night there, but won't be doing so now. I'll still be at the game though.

Leeds, up to Newcastle, find somewhere to have a shower, then hit the match. :D
