Jon the Hat Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 In Nigel we Trust. The kid obvioucly has something about him. Good luck I hope he makes an impact.
Guest Bilo Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Not too sure about this one. Seems to go for style over substance far too often.
MikeyT Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Yep the jury is still out but good luck to him and lets hope he does well.
Fox92 Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Not sure about this one either, I hope Nigel or even Milan has some other players coming in 'coz I aint 100% confident and happy yet.
Stuliasz Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 He must be doing something right in training because in matches, he was mediocre at best.
NorthernFox Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 I trust NP, and think that the lad will come good next season.
Webbo Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 the juries out <_< The fact that he's only got a 1 year deal suggests that Nige feels the same.
Mark Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 knowitall spot on once more. I'm not convinced he seemed to overplay and get caught out, quite often last season. The ability is there though.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 To be fair to the lad, he's not had much of an opportunity to impress us. I guess he will get a good number of matches/minutes during pre-season.
Rodders Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 As he was with us last season, this won't be included in the 4(?) players Mandaric said we'll be bringing in, right? Right...?
AjcW Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Im pleased. The lad only played a few cameos, and its nice to have back up accross the midfield. And OMG the shot on this lad, scared the shit outta me when he was warming up at hereford away last season Good luck to him, and nice to see some activity.
teblin Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Nice touch, big lad too and he is only young so worth a pop for a year if he is going to improve
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Pleased with this. In the short appearances he had last year he showed some potential for an 18/19 year old. Good first touch, decent passer and looks to dictate play. Has some shortcomings but so do most youngsters, think he'll be a steal in years to come. (hopefully)
Guest Gist Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 I'm willing to give the guy a chance and I wish him all the best. Only given him a one year deal anyway so hopefully that encourages him to prove himself even more.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 If he wasn't good enough for Liverpool how on earth can he be good enough for US!? Not sure we saw the best of him (what little we did) last season, but room to improve, not the finished article, got potential, etc.
Guest Bilo Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 I seem to remember a Chelsea reject doing pretty well for us, so I won't poo-poo the signing completely. Not convinced by him thus far admittedly, but a pre-season and a run in the squad could see him come on in leaps and bounds.
Tommeh Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 How can anyone Judge this guy? I'd have seen every minute he's played and can't recall too much and certainly can't call this signing good or bad so it beggars belief how others can. Actaully no, I feellike entering the minority. He is identical to Lilian Nails in everyway, hence great signing
Super Arj Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 promising signing imo.. however i think our next signing needs to be a bit more experienced and "proven"
Corky Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 A one-year deal is a good move. If it doesn't work out, we can part company next summer. I'm hopeful that he'll develop into a competent midfielder, like Kingy.
