ramboacdc Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 theres a new update? i played last night on steam and it didnt download O_o. anyway into my next season with arsenal after losing in the champions league 1/4 finals 4-0 agg against inter. chelski eventually won it. i won the FA cup and the league. bought in ozil and rooney and got rid of marco amelia.

Aleksz Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 my fm is seriously fooked up atm... my leicester game save corrupted well atleast i thought it was..quit the game in anger loaded it back up and now none of the things that are in my documents are showing (other game saves, shortlists, tactics, graphics etc) now ive delted them and downloaded again theyre not even showing in my sports interactive documents now.

I murder teams at home but I always seem to lose away, it's driving me nuts. unless I'm playing a much bigger team i don't but when playing Man U, Real Madrid, Barca, Inter etc i go for a more defensive mentality than usual - play on the counter attack - Pacey striker with good finishing is a must. Formation : 4-1-3-1-1 defence Defensive midfielder wingers & centre midfielder Attacking midfielder striker unbeaten in 12 away from home - scored 20 conceded 5

How did you get this to work? doesnt seem to be working for me when i put it straight in the 'editor data' folder. Can anyone reccommend me some good Backroom staff? Because the only good member of the staff I have is Al Stewart as my assistant. I'm Rotherham by the way. I always get Gary Anderson as a fitness coach. decent on a free.

Ozwin Posted 22 July 2010 Posted 22 July 2010 These updates only work on new games, you start a new game and tick the box that says 'Use changes' or something. Then on the next screen you should be able to pick your updated file. I think the actual file has to be in 'Editor Files' - you can't place it wherever you want.

Ermm i tend to sign Jason Dodd as either a coach or an assistant manager sometimes, hes not that good to begin with, but improves and becomes decent for a club like Rotherham. Hes also free so no worries about money.

DB11 Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Why would you try ever opening the data editor file? That's not going to work. Just place the extracted dbc file into 'editor data' folder and then open up FM and start a new game, and when it asks which database you wish to use tick the 'Use Changes' or something at the bottom of the box and then press next and you'll use it.
