Katy Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 It's not on our OS yet. Oh well, I hope it makes him happy. Ambitionless goober.
marbelladave Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Only one word to say about that. Bruno Berner!
FilboFox Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Hmph... can't see why he'd want to leave to West Brom when there's no guarantee they'll be going up this year... Here, he had a solid claim for the left back position, was an integral part of the team's future and knew the setup and city well... and supposedly loved the club. Good luck to him at West Brom but for someone who is supposed to love and support Leicester, this seems a very strange move to a club not that much bigger than us and come the end of the season, might finish lower than us if we do well.
Wycombe Fox Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Who? But seriously, despite poor timing and the disrespectful manner of the transfer request, good luck to the lad (but not against City of course!)
Lillehamring Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 amazing how you can talk anything up to sound good...
Leicester4Eva Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Yep Confirmed today on sky sports new, Mattock signs for wba!
breadandcheese Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I've never quite seen the hype and potential of Mattock that others have seen, so I'm quite happy about this. Having said that, I didn't bother getting David Beckham's autograph when I was a young whipper-snapper back when Leicester played Man U in 1994 as he was just some youth player who wasn't going to make it. That was the end of my potential scouting job.
billyfox1 Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Only one word to say about that.Bruno Berner! Only 2 then

Us finish above WBA?! Are you serious I think this will be a good move for him, could be the making of him, it looked as if he needed a fresh start, and a new manager.

That was the end of my potential scouting job. Don't beat yourself up about it bro, I made the same mistake. Good luck to Mattock. Obviously got ideas above his station out on england u19 duty, and very bad form to serve notice two days before the season started. If we'd had the money in for him a month ago, perhaps we'd have been able to actually buy a striker.

I'm just thinking positively... and after the hammerings West Brom took last year, maybe they won't be quite so good this year...
Joe. Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I'm just thinking positively... and after the hammerings West Brom took last year, maybe they won't be quite so good this year... In the Premiership! There's a huge difference between the two leagues, as shown by West Brom's persistent yo-yo-ing. It's a good move for Mattock certainly; they're a much better team than ourselves with greater promotion credentials to match. I'm not impressed with the way he went about the transfer, but he's gone now so there's not much we can do. We'll take the money and move on, that's life.
carterfox90 Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 i hope he shut the door on the way it all leaves a bad taste in the mouth goodbye rumour has it that we are in for the dons left back lewington hope so as he was 10 times better than mattock rumour was on 606 bbc pages so dont know how true it is but he did not play for them on saturday so maybe there might be some truth in it
deepbluedevil Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I have never quite got what the media saw in him, apart from him being young, english and left footed bye bye
maddog Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 £1 million is been said, i hope we got a little more for him than that. I know he's overrated but £1 million is quite cheap, we paid more for Dj
Bluefoxtim Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 What was the last Leicester transfer fee to be made public?!
Joe. Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 What was the last Leicester transfer fee to be made public?! Nobody releases transfer fees these days it seems, it's not just us.
Flynny Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Nobody releases transfer fees these days it seems, it's not just us. Obviously it's so that Mandaric's 'cut' doesn't have to be made public. * * this is a joke please don't sue for the love of god aaaaaaaaa
