Messi Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Does any one how much we got for joe mattock? At least a million I was thinking? If so very good business money in 4 a striker? Lita, beckford, Jackson Well Lita has gone M'Boro, Leeds will want mor ethan 1m For Beckford and We was meant to be interested in Jackson Mid-July If Waghorn carries on performing well than id invest that in him

Just hope he doesn't do 2 well and Sunderland want him back
Lovejoy Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 This whole "they're not a bigger club than us" thing is starting to get on my tits. At the end of the day, he stands more chance of being in a Premiership team being at WBA than Leicester. The only surprising thing for me though is why on earth would anyone pay £1,000,000 for such an awful defender ?
Messi Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Yea good idea like the look of waghorn. Just hope he doesn't do 2 well and Sunderland want him back We should put a bid in for him before the transfer window closes now we have a reasonable ammount of money so that he is our player and sunderland cant recall him but he looks like a very hot prospect and doubt that they will want to sell him or they will put a stupid asking price on him like they did for Fulop
MrSpaM Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Well Lita has gone M'Boro, Leeds will want mor ethan 1m For Beckford and We was meant to be interested in Jackson Mid-July If Waghorn carries on performing well than id invest that in him I Agree Can see him being a better player than most of these people we've been looking at after a bit of exprience in the side. Only thing that let him down a little was his positioning, we could have got a few more if he'd have got his foot on some of those crosses later on, but he'd only been playing with the team for 2 days before that game so it's understandable.
leicesterseddon Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 "I was ecstatic when i heard a club like w.b.a were interested" wow wee, i can hardly fooking waitbetter chance of getting into the prem i agree AT THE MINUTE, but still a shit club , no sours grapes, but i hope the move goes tits up for him I bet he was the first kid at his school to get a yo-yo...

Yeah i agree completely, but give him more time with the team and i think that if he learns to read Howard flick on's etc then he will be a great asset to the team Sign Him Up!!!
markbsac Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Yeah i agree completely, but give him more time with the team and i think that if he learns to read Howard flick on's etc then he will be a great asset to the team Sign Him Up!!! sunderland wont sell him..been talking to some of there lot on footymad and they all know how good he is and that hes one for the future

StanSP Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 What's the likelihood that Stearman had some kind of influence, even a little one on Mattock's move?? Mattock mentioned to BBC WM that he wants to emulate Stearman, so do you think Mattock spoke to him before he made his decision?

I think they share a flat together ...
Sly Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I think they share a flat together ... Are you sure they don't live in adjecent flats ... Such as Mattock is a w*****k He wears a w*****ks hat He lives next to Stearman In a council flat ...okay, that's just childish, I apologise.
josh_baskin Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I've never quite seen the hype and potential of Mattock that others have seen, so I'm quite happy about this. Having said that, I didn't bother getting David Beckham's autograph when I was a young whipper-snapper back when Leicester played Man U in 1994 as he was just some youth player who wasn't going to make it. That was the end of my potential scouting job. I've never quite seen the hype and potential of Beckham that others have seen. Anybody else agree?
Hugo Sanchez Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Good luck to him, cant blame him. Yeah massive step up, can't blame a 19 year old for wanting to leave his beloved club for a team who are playing in the best league in the world...

Then why has he got more then 100 england caps ? A shedload of medals and is one of the most respected footballer of all time ? Must have done something right surely.

Leicesterboi Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 £1m is a ridiculously low price for Mattock! Very annoyed if we let im go for a million with the possibility of it being £1.8m. It should have started at £2m for a young, english, U'21 international in the current market! Look at Glen Johnson, I mean Mattock is by no stretch of the imagination on his level but just for being young, english and an international he commands a fee of £18million!! Mattock's interviews have fooked me right off, not even grateful for the platform we've provided him in his career. I could understand players who aren't getting in giving interviews like that but Mattock was golden boy and from what I gather, Leicester did a lot to help him develop!!
Hugo Sanchez Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 You're so cool, you must be a hit with the ladies.
Corky Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 £1m is a ridiculously low price for Mattock! Seems pretty fair to me.
Dames Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 He's just saying those things to get the WBA fans on his side so they don't jump on his back straight away when they realise he's not all that.
