The goal that never was.

Its ok to say that but then you have to ask.

Which incidents would he view? How would you decide which incidents to view. How would you stop play? How would you restart Play?

Without having an interuption in the flow of play. For instance some say "check when the ball next goes out". Can you imagine an appeal for a goal at one end, ball stays in play cos no officials give it, defence goes up the other end and score, then 4th official looks at a monitor and rules that goal out and awards the original. It would be a joke and farcical for the crowd. Like i say until a solution which doesnt alter the laws of the game on restarts etc is made, it will not happen.

Well I would imagine that scenairo would quickly teach players to not take the ball down the other end and score when they just saw it go in the goal.

The reason I like Warnock is that unlike 98% of other managers he doesn't sit on the fence and if something needs saying, he'll say it.

I bow down to Warnock for sticking it out and calling everyone out on their bullshit from the FA to the ref to Bristol City to the tea lady.

If that happened to the club I was managing, I'd be ripping everyone into shreds. Good on you, Neil.

The irony of a king of bullshit calling everyone else on their bullshit doesn't strike you at all?

The thing is there all these anti Warnock comments in here but the point is it was Palace robbed of the goal not Warnock. I feel for the fans and if it happened to us you would want Nigel to stand up against the suits and fight to the last very death to vent an appalling decision.

I hope the same thing happens to us, just to see a lot of peoples reactions.

How bizarre

Very few if any have said it was not an horrendous mistake and I doubt anyone feels strongly against Palace, but Warnock is a hypocrite and will get no sympathy from me.

Game should be replayed but Bristol are the cúnts for not putting the ball into their own net. But in their defence, its not their fault if the officials arent capable.

The game is crying out for goal line technology but fifa seem to brush it under the carpet.

Exactly.

It's nonsense people saying "yeah and what if it happened to us". Well, yeah, obviously I'd be fucking outraged. But that's becasue I support Leicester City, not Crystal Palace. That's football.

It's a diabolical mistake but if I could have chosen someone for that to happen to then it'd probably be Colin. Which is why I'm still having a little chuckle to myself whenever I see it.

And we'd be fuming! Of course it's a disgrace but what comes around goes around and I'm glad it's happened to Warnock.

Now shut-up pea-brain and stop being a pr*ck.

We all know Warnock is outspoken but in this particular case he is not a hypocrite as he has never been in the position of having a phantom goal conceded. I find it strange people saying that he deserves it.

I was never Warnocks biggest fan but I really do admire his passion for the game wether or not he has said negativity towards Leicester. I don't think he is after sympathy just logic to be used which in this case had not been.

If a man is a twat for having passion then stone me dead.

Maybe so. I'm not Colin's biggest fan by any means, but I don't have the anger and hatred that some people have against him. So I have sympathy for him and Palace fans, too.

I admire his passion, I don't hate him he has a way of operating that I don't like and he's shown he's the first one to use every means fair or foul to get a result, so when he whines and calls other managers cheats then as I said he gets no sympathy from me.

Like NW said though if it had been a Prem team it would have done. Its an absolute disgrace.

If the same thing had happened in the Premier League the game also wouldnt of got replayed and why should it? So everytime the ball has crossed the line in match and not been given a goal then them matches should be replayed? No they shouldnt.

This is the worst mistake I have ever seen in a football match but if you start replaying matches because of mistakes then football wont be the same.

Could you imagine if it was the other way around and it was Bristol City who didnt recieve the goal, would the character of football himself Neil Warnock be happy with a rematch? Hmm.. lets have a think. <_<

Dave Pundit is lurking, I wonder what insights we'll get on the subject from such a stalwart of the game?

Ohh dear, terrible news but Warnock said that this would happen.

Still, not rate on him, I like the man.

They didn't play that Man U game when the ball clearly crossed the line, I think Liverpool were also involved on a game where the opposition scored - no replay.

What about the F.A Cup semi final then ? How unlucky were Chesterfield ? They would had been in a F.A Cup final. Didn't get replayed.

I think replaying the game wasn't the right option as there are always mistakes in football and that would be taking it to far.

What needs considering is how the 4th official who saw the ball go in can't tell the referee this. What is the point in having official in your title when it means fook all. Do they get paid to be a spectator and the odd occasion when the ref gets injured to replace him?

The whole approach and communication between the officials is what needs looking at. Fairplay the ref and linesman didn't see it but im sure the other linesman and the 4th official did yet they couldn't overturn a blatant decision.

Isn't that the Liverpool one I mentioned :dunno:
