OriginalRobboFOX Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 Alot of it was influenced by Gary Birtles who bums anything Nottingham. Although, Parry has a bit of a soft spot for City.
Guest Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 He's got your money.He doesn't give a fuck. He hasn't got ours.
--Birstall LCFC-- Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 Watched it through bet365, which had very fair commentary How did u manage that when it said only game being streamed on there was Benfica at 8:15pm.......
James. Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 He hasn't got ours. He hasn't got mine either. Long live iraqgoals channel 1.
Ross-Kemp Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 fooking hate Birtles. Useless fat ****. The commentary was a joke. 'Newcastle have so much faith in there kids to be playing Nile Ranger' Erm, they couldn't play anyone else because they're all injured you nonce.
Unabomber Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 Hopefully Birtles has managed to remove his mouth from Ranger's cock.
Pete_foxes Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 the repeated bumming of Kyle Ranger did my tits in. he wasnt even that good
Milky Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 At half time Peter Beagrie said it was an outstanding away performance and gave us lots of credit. Dave Jones was kind to us too.
flanimal Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 Commentators always act arse-lickie towards Newcastle. I don't get it, they always talk about how hard done to they are. I mean, it must've been so shitty being in the Premier League for around 16 years solid, and being Europe all through the '90s, and also buying some of the most exciting players in the world for multi millions of pounds. Newcastle don't have a divine right to shit. I could not give two pieces of piss if the Geordie's had a crowd of 5 million. Having loyal - but delusional fans - does not constitute a quality club. Wipe the shit off your tongues, commentators and focus on clubs that have really had it tough, like Leicester. FOXES NEVER QUIT!
00rawat Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 5 live in the first half was even worse. Defo it was newcastle this newcastle that was oh so annoying and every time Ranger was on the ball they whent on about him till the point they give his whole life story about him.Wished they would shut up about him but they never did noting amazing in my imo.
suffolk fox Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 I was annoyed not only by the commentary but during the match they went around the ground to see the so called celebrities watching the match.....No neck fugly Beardsley and Shearer, some bloke with a Business interest in Newcastle. At one stage they cut to Houghton on the touch line stayed on him for about four minutes talking crap and then shot to us having an attack to which Birtles said, It will come to nothing anyway!!!! Git!
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 There were many contradictory remarks. I hated Jimmy Greaves when he did commentary back in the 90s but it wasn't as bad as this. The contradictions weren't even far apart. It was like one sentence 'aren't Newcastle performing well with so many injury problems' and then the next 'ten of these players were playing premiership football last season'. Total joke. If your name is Birtles.
Babylon Posted 1 September 2009 Author Posted 1 September 2009 At half time Peter Beagrie said it was an outstanding away performance and gave us lots of credit. Dave Jones was kind to us too. Fair play to Beagrie, but him saying that just highlighted how ridiculous the commentary was of the game because it never came across like that.
davieG Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 And they've now moved Reading away to Monday evening.
Bluefoxtim Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 We didn't get a single mention after the full time whistle.
Maybes Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 They showed our fans once in the whole 90 minutes. Which was a shame as it looked like there was a good following. This was there quote "It looks like Leicester brought a good following with them tonight, but it is really a glamour tie for them and most teams heading here" (was something along those lines) True that it is a glamour tie however taking 2500 to newastle a 4 hour journey on monday night is a cracking effort from our supporters. Another side point, St James' is hardly a cauldron of noise either.

Babylon Posted 1 September 2009 Author Posted 1 September 2009 although that didn't stop them from wanking over the "St. James' Park atmosphere" either Was there anything that didn't actually get a verbal jizzing?
Jimmy Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 Was there anything that didn't actually get a verbal jizzing? Alan Shearer/Iain Dowie's hairline
Babylon Posted 1 September 2009 Author Posted 1 September 2009 Alan Shearer/Iain Dowie's hairline I couldn't see the hairlines past the halos sky superimposed on the picture.
Corky Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 Was Iain Dowie at Newcastle last season? I don't think they mentioned it
Flynny Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 So I heard Sky TV created the AIDS virus. True story.
James. Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 So I heard Sky TV created the AIDS virus. True story. Ranger should get down the clinic then after the rogering he got last night.
